Chapter 28
Chaos suddenly started awake and it took him a while to figure out what had woke him. He blinked lazily while surveying his room and inhaled deeply...
“Ahhh” He exclaimed in realization. What had awoken him was the amount of power pulsing through the air. Apparently the guests were here. As slowly as he was able he dressed himself in a loose white shirt and brown pants.
Begrudgingly he made his way to the door but instead it swung open to reveal one of his fathers many slaves. “Rei.” Chaos inclined his head while stating the mans True Name.
Long before Chaos was born, his father had the duty of shepherding souls. During those days he would purposefully neglect certain weak souls, instead of sending them up to Yahweh he would push them back into their bodies. They did not breath, nor eat nor sleep. They were mere shells of human beings, forever bound and enslaved by Lucifer.
Rei shakily held out a tray of food. “ Efcharistoume.” Chaos thanked him in the True Language- the only language they were now able to understand. Upon the tray was the soul vessel: his necklace. Quickly he slipped it over his head and was thankful for the familiar weight once more.
After he consumed the mediocre food he finally moved into the hall letting his curiosity get the better of him. It was still too early to tell if the guest were fallen angels or Yahweh’s angels- either way the air was thick with energy and power.
He followed the trail into the throne room and peered inside from the large doorway. Breathing a sigh of relief he turned and headed back to his room. There were two angels present standing before Lucifer- both with thick black auras.
Thank Yahweh they were fallen angels. As he rounded the corner he heard a woman’s voice call out to him. “Ahhhh what do we have here?” Turning slowly he watched as a woman swept up the hallway towards him.
She had raven black hair that hung past her shoulders, voluminous and full of life. A slight chestnut red was visible as she bobbed beneath the hanging lanterns. She was wearing a red satin gown with an extreme plunging neckline, swollen breasts bounced as she made her way towards him. It was skin tight, sleeveless and had one long slit making its way up her left thigh.
Her wings appeared paper thin, ratty and multiple holes riddle the dirty feathers. Each tare looked They were smaller than Lucifers and Chaos’s, then again all angels wings were not nearly as grand.
“You must be Chaos.” She reached him at last and almond shaped yellow eyes pierced through his skull. Chaos nodded curtly once.
“My my...you are cute.” She stretched out a slender hand and trailed a long nail down the side of his face. “Mmm and your aura pulses with power. You must be very...very strong.” Full lips pouted each word seductively in his direction.
Chaos remained still, unmoved by her seductive display. “How rude of Lucifer to keep you hidden for so long.” She drew out each word slowly and circled Chao’s body appraising every angle.
“But now that we’ve met...” Quickly she was in front of him once more her lips inches away from his. “...we can play.”
“Lilith.” A deep voice made her snap her head up. A large man of considerable build sauntered up behind her. He had shoulder length deep red and black hair that was held back by a length of course ribbon. His wings were jet black and all the feathers were stick straight, having no fluff or curl to them what so ever. Blue eyes washed over the woman’s frame then snapped to Chaos.
“Balan” The woman pouted and instantly clung onto his muscular arm. “Way to ruin my fun.” He said nothing and turned to Chaos.
“My apologies.” He inclined his head politely. “I am Balan.” His aura pulsed at the sound of his true name leaving his lips. “This is Lilith.” He motioned towards the woman now clinging sexually to his broad chest and arms.
“Ahh I see you have met my son.” The slow menacing voice of Lucifer made them all go stiff. Lilith and Balan bowed their heads as he approached and Chaos briefly did the same.
Sighing Chaos prayed for the guests to leave soon, all he wanted to do was escape this oppressive atmosphere. ...And who was he kidding, he wanted to see Dawne as well.
