"YEAH I DID this morning," I began as I looked into his olive eyes. "but she said you weren't here. And that you wouldn't be for up to a month."

"I flew in early." He said nonchalantly. I quirked an eyebrow and smirked.

"Aw, did you come all the way back just for me?" I teased.

He didn't think it was funny-

He stared at me looking slightly annoyed. I laughed at his expression.

"I'm kidding. But now that you are here we can talk." I said as I stood in front of him and crossed my arms over my chest.

"Come downstairs. After you put some clothes on, that is." He said as he walked away. I looked down at my outfit and my face felt hot.

"First of all, this was the only other thing in the closet

"First of all, this was the only other thing in the closet. And second, I was planning on going to sleep!" I shouted after him. He didn't stop or turn around to acknowledge my statements.

When I came downstairs, he was sitting on the couch. He somehow already had a small glass of what resembled honey brown liquid.

"So why are you back so early?" I asked as I strolled up behind him. He took his empty hand and pointed to the cushion next to him.

I walked around the couch and plopped besides him. I had thrown on a knitted blanket around my body as another layer of clothes to please him.

"What did you want to speak to me about?"

"It's um.. it's kind of private.." I whisper as I glance around the room, signaling I don't want the cameras to be around.

He stares at me before he sighs. He stood up and took a sip of his drink, walking towards a new direction.

"Are you coming?"

I stood up and scurried after him. I walked into an open sliding back door after him. The midnight breeze hit my face as I saw him stop in the middle of the backyard.

Grass blades quietly crushed under my slippers as I walked next to him.

"There aren't any cameras out here?" I ask as I look around the nicely kept yard.

"The only rooms with no surveillance are my office, your bedroom, and the basement." He said as he stopped in front of a smooth bench.

"What's in the basement?" I asked as I followed. He gave me a glance with a raised eyebrow, silently asking me if I really wanted to know. "Right.."

"Anyways I wanted to speak to you about something serious." I started as I stared up at him. He looked at me and slightly nodded for me to continue.

He stood in front of me, one hand stuffed in his pocket while the other held his drink. He lowered it once he saw the intense look on my face.

"What?"

"One of your employees came to me yesterday. She told me something horrible." I said.

"Does it have something to do with me?" He asked.

It does since they're your employees-

"Yes." I said. He sighed and took a sip of his drink.

"Prince. This is serious." I frown. He looked at me and subtly rolled his eyes.

"Do you have anyone named Marcus who works for you?" I questioned.

If he wasn't going to take this seriously I'd rather deal with it myself. I can't let what's happening to Vivian and the other maids continue.

He paused and looked at me.

"No."
