SO MAYBE THIS whole 'having Junior's mom move nearby' thing wasn't my best idea to agree to, hence how busy Prince has been. I rarely see him and on the little times I do, we barely get a seconds peace before he has to rush to do something else.

I also hadn't got time to tell him that I'm pregnant and it's driving me crazy. I don't think I can handle dealing with this on my own anymore, I need to tell him and if not him then someone else.

It just so happened to be the day that Alice decided to pay us a visit. She claimed to need to discuss something with Prince and after she did so, she spent the rest of the day accompanying me.

I was beyond grateful to have someone to talk to.

"And then before Noelle left, she said she would win Prince's heart!" She exclaimed, gossiping. "When I tell you I've never laughed as hard as I have in that moment!"

"Well I'm glad it was amusing to one of us." I said, leaning back in my chair. By my calculations I'm about one month pregnant. I wasn't showing yet and I was glad. But I also knew that by four or five months it'd be visible than it is now.

"Oh please dear, if you saw the seriousness on her face you would think so, too." She shushed. She brought the darkened glass to her lips, taking a large gulp.

Once she lowered her glass she snapped her fingers and pointed to an empty glass that sat between us. I was confused until a maid quickly poured whatever she was drinking into the glass, not spilling a drop.

"Have some, it'll help you loosen up." She said, leaning forward. I gave her a smile, shaking my head.

"Thank you but I don't drink." I said, slightly shrugging.

"One sip won't kill you." She insisted, gesturing towards the glass. I furrowed my brows, once again confused. Why was Alice trying to get me to drink so much, she had never done so before.

"I'm fine, I have water." I reassured. I eyed the bottle of water one of the maids handed me when Alice arrived.

Although it this was strange behavior from her, I couldn't blame her. I doubt Prince told her my life story and she hasn't seen me drink any type of alcohol since we've met.

"Ah, yes. Water does help during a pregnancy. Keeps the baby nourished." She said, knowingly. I nodded, silently agreeing.

Wait-

My eyes shot back to Alice, widening as the smirk on her face grew.

"How did you know?" I asked, my voice very much so above a whisper. Alice only laughed, draping the silk scarf over her shoulder.

"Sweetheart I've had five children, I know when someone's expecting." She said, throwing her head back as she laughed again. I shifted closer to her, wanting her to quiet down.

God forbid this be the one time Prince wants to pay me a visit.

"What I want to know is why the hell the two of you haven't told me!" She exclaimed, staring down at me.

"Because one of the two doesn't know." I explained quickly, my eyes darting towards the shut den door. "I haven't told him yet."

Her own eyes widened, her hand cupping her mouth as she gasped.

"He doesn't know?!" She shouted. I shook my head and she gasped again. "Tell him!"

I sighed and leaned my body back against the couch cushion.
