⚠️Long Chapter⚠️

AFTER PRINCE BROKE my gift, I recklessly grabbed it and stormed out. My hand had small cuts up and down its palm as the glass wedged its way through my skin.

I made my way to one of the many washrooms that littered the empty halls. I threw out the broken frame and the rest of the glass, sad at the fact I wasted my time getting a gift for him.

I carefully cleaned my hands as I winced at the contact of the gushing water.

Once I thought my hands were clean enough, I grabbed the picture and walked back to my room. Once I entered I saw my room was now covered in shopping bags.

I undressed to put on a more comfortable outfit, lazily walking to one of the bags I got for after work hours.

I tied my curly hair into a loose ponytail, sitting on the bed with a deep sigh as I stared at the picture

I tied my curly hair into a loose ponytail, sitting on the bed with a deep sigh as I stared at the picture.

That'll be the last time I ever get that man a gift...

My eyes wander from the nature themed photo to one of the bags, a particularly small one. I frowned as I remembered what was in it.

I pulled it to me, opening the bag to see a small burgundy box. I took it out of the bag and popped it open to see the familiar matching pieces of jewelry.

One was a thin necklace with the word 'Prince's' engraved on it, meant for me. The other was a single chained link with the letters 'Royal's' engraved.

I knew he would never actually wear it but I thought it would be cute to have matching pieces of jewelry.

Especially when I had to wait two hours for it to get done.

I closed the box and opened the nightstand, attempting to stash it next to the gun. I freeze as I realized the gun wasn't there, thinking that Prince must've already had found it.

My body jerks up when I hear a knock at my door, causing me to drop the box. I quickly pick it up and put it into the nightstand before walking towards the door.

I creak it open to see an unfamiliar figure. It was a tall male, his dark brown hair almost seeming black. The dark themed suit he wore failed to cover up the trail of black ink that crawled up his neck, disappearing under his suit's neckline. His thick eyebrows raised as his lips gave me a playful smirk.

I was about to question who he was until I saw his eyes. That deep shade of green his irises held made who he was clear, making my eyes slightly widen.

"Hello, beautiful, I was told you wanted to see me?" He asked sinisterly as he leaned against the door frame. I blinked a few times before gathering myself, trying to put a new plan into action.
