Zion & Wine
_______________________________"Excuse me? Hi."
I lifted my head from my lap and saw a tall figure standing there.
It was a man. He was around the six foot mark, dark blonde hair and pearly white teeth showing through his lips as he gave me a God worthy smile.
"Hi?" I waved. He smiled as he came closer, standing next to me.
"Sorry if this is weird, but I've been watching you." He said. I look at him in disgust, completely weirded out that someone would even do that, much less admit to it.
"Please leave." I say as I look in the other direction.
"Ah, shit, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to say it like that-" He tried to explain. I kept my head turned until I felt the table slightly move. I looked across from me to now see the mysterious man sitting in Princes' spot.
"I just mean since I came here, I saw you sitting here by yourself." He cleared up.
"And how long have you been here?"
"About 15 minutes." He answers, his fingers slightly peeling at the white table cloth.
It's true, since Prince got that phone call, he hasn't come back. I'm only a little worried.
He is, after all, in the Mafia. And he constantly seems like he's on the verge of destruction. My only worry is that something might happen to him and Junior would be left without a father, too.
"And you've been watching me that long?" I joke. He lightly chuckled once he sees my smile.
"I'm sorry. It's just that you're beautiful." He comments, looking into my eyes. I instinctively look away.
"I apologize if that's too forward. I tend to move a little fast on occasion." He admits as he leans back in the chair.
"No, it's okay. Thank you." I say. He smiles at me again. He reaches his hand to the middle of the table, holding it out.
"I'm Zion." He says. After a short debate, I decide it'll do me some good to make new friends.
"Royal."

"So your telling me your date took a phone call and never came back?" He asked as we sat at the table, chatting crazily.
"Yup. I'm starting to get a little worried." I admit out loud. Zion furrows his eyebrows before nodding.
"Why don't you call him." He questions.
"Because... he took my phone." I reply.
I completely forgot to ask him for my phone back.
"Why?" He asks as he chews on the soft bread the waiter had brought by.
I, for obvious reasons can't tell him the real reason why so I'll lie.
"He wanted me to pay attention to him. He's kind of needy." I say with a smirk. Zion laughs as he wiped his hand on the napkin.
"Well it's been officially twenty minutes since I've last seen him, I think I should go look for him." I say as I worryingly looked around the restaurant.
"I'll help." He says with a smile. I nod in appreciation as we both stand up.
"W-where are you going?" Asked a voice as we were about to walk out. We turned and saw Sarah and Rob standing there, tight smiles on their faces.
"I'm going to go look for Prince, he hasn't come back yet and I'm afraid somethings happened." I say. "And my new friend here is helping me."
Zion cheekily waves at them. They look him over before looking back at me.
"Oh, I'm sure he'll be back soon." Rob tried to reassure.
"Yes, and in the meantime, take some wine and appetizers." Sarah said happily as she tried to rush us back into the main room.
"I'm only twenty so I can't drink." I say as she lowers her hands off my body. "And I feel like I should really go look for Prince. It's been too long."
They sigh and shoot each other worried glances as me and Zion exit the restaurant.
"I'm new around here.. where do you recommend looking?" I ask Zion as we step onto the pavement sidewalk. He walked besides me with his hands in his pocket, warming them up.
"Uh, there's a bar around here. Maybe he skipped the date to get drunk with a couple of buddies?" He asked a hypothetical.
"No way. He doesn't seem like the type to drink recklessly... or have buddies." I reply.
Zion laughs at my bluntness, looking around in the dark night.
"Your boyfriend sounds awesome." He comments, sarcasm and humor lacing his voice. I stop walking and look at him.
"He's not my boyfriend. More like a boss." I say quickly.
"Oh..so you're single then?" He questions with a small smirk. The glint of mischief in his eyes made me squint mine.
"Yes, but that doesn't mean you have a chance." I shoot.
He chuckled for the umpteenth time tonight before walking besides me again.

We've been walking in circles to now, hoping to spot Prince in a alleyway or shop nearby the restaurant.
"Gah, why does it have to be freezing right now?" I mutter under my breath as my hands rub my arms up and down.
"Here." Zion said. Before I could look at him, I felt the warm and soft inner material of his jacket cozily lay on my shoulders.
"Thanks." I smile up at him. Before he could return it, I saw a figure approach us.
"Prince?" I asked, almost relieved. Zion turned to where I was looking, watching as Prince came closer.
"What the hell is going on here?"
