A/N:
I was way too excited writing this

"YA DON'T SAY," I began, staring at her with a small laugh. She quirks her brow in slight confusion before looking at Prince, dropping my hand.

"I was upset you didn't come back to the meeting. It got quiet boring without you there." She said, pouting as she took a step closer to Prince.

With no response he took another sip of his water, turning his head in the opposite direction. The look of hurt took over Noelle's face, her fist clenching.

"Drinking water? That's not like you." Elizabeth tried, obviously thinking she'd have better luck. Although I wanted to mute everything coming out of her mouth, it was quite strange that Prince was drinking water and not some type of alcohol.

He, too, ignored her. I put my hand on his arm, causing him to look back at me.

"Why are you drinking water?" I asked, hoping the two would leave if they were ignored long enough. He gave me a smile before placing his glass down again.

"I'm quitting. I don't want to make you uncomfortable." He mumbled quietly. I stared up at him in awe, not thinking as I stepped forward and kissed his cheek. He gave me a smile, his eyes shining as he looked into mine.

The sweet moment was cut short when a low scoff came from beside us.

"Really? You think you can quit?" Noelle asked unconvinced. I furrowed my brows, her tone getting to me.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked harshly. She took another step but this time it was towards me.

"I've known Prince for a very long time, he won't just quit like that." She stated, crossing her arms. "Especially not for some bitch he just met."

My eyes widened as I instinctively lurched forward, ready to stain this beautifully white dress. As soon as I took a step towards her, large hands grabbed me by my waist, lifting me off the ground and pulling me into their chest.

"Let. Go." I demanded as I picked at his fingers, wanting to swipe the smug look off her face.

"No, no. Come on." Prince said in a hushed voice, pulling us away from the two. It took us a few feet until he let me go, safely away from them. I huffed as I clenched my fist.

"Why didn't you let me at her?" I asked, my voice getting louder and louder. He sighed, looking back at where we came from.

"You can't hurt her," He said simply before shrugging. "Well you can hurt her but not kill her."

"Why the hell not?"

He stared at me before sighing, running a hand through his hair. I furrowed my brow, walking closer to him.

"What's wrong?" I asked quietly, watching as he began to stress himself out.

"Nothing. I'll take care of it.. just," He looked around the large room as of trying to spot something. He grunts before pointing to an area. "go over there."
