"ARE YOU ALRIGHT?" The sweet yet caring voice that could only belong to Eden asked. I looked up from the box and stared at her, my mouth slightly hung open and eyes widened.

Once she realized what I was holding hers did the same before she squealed, running towards me.

"Are you? Wow, this is so exciting!" She exclaimed. I shook my head, sighing.

"I don't know, I didn't take the test." I mumbled as I looked back down at it. She nudged my shoulder.

"Well, what are you waiting for?" She asked. I froze, my eyes stuck on the test.

"I-I don't want to be a mom." I spoke louder. A silent gasp came from Eden and I frowned, looking up at her. "No offense to you, you would make a great one. I just don't know if I would make even a good one."

I could see the frown on her face as she gently took it from my hand, placing it on the sink counter.

"Royal, you will be the best mother in the world. Heck, when I have kid's someday I'm going to have to drop them off to you." She said, giggling at the end. I wanted to but I couldn't bring myself to smile.

"Eden, I'm serious. What if I was okay with being a mom, the question would be is Prince ready to be a father again? Junior is still so young, would Prince be able to take care of the responsibilities?" I asked, panicked.

"Okay but what about the baby?" She cut me off, gently rubbing my arm. "Imagine all the joy and happiness they'd bring you. Imagine raising another life with the man you love and growing old together."

"I do want kids, Eden. I do want to be a mother.. I just don't know how to be. If I'm ready to be." I muttered. She let go of me and took the box, opening the top and handing it to me.

"Then take the test. All this hypothetical talk won't be useful unless we know what's going on." She said soothingly. I slowly lifted my hand, grabbing the box.

"Stay with me? I just need someone to freak out to when this thing turns positive." I asked. She nodded, giving me
a shining smile. "Thank you."

"I never knew time could go so slow." I mumbled, chewing on my bottom lip. Eden nodded in agreement, sitting on the bathroom sinks' counter.

"Tell me about it, I've been through this more than enough times already." She announced, looking at me with a smile. "Time never gets shorter."

"Have you had any symptoms? Any cravings?" She asked. I shook my head after thinking about it for a second.

"Prince would usually already know what I wanted before I did, if I did have cravings I'm oblivious to it."

"What about your period?" She asked. I froze, racking my brain for an accurate answer.

"...I may be a bit late-" I started but was cut off my a sharp hum coming for Eden. "But I just thought that, that happens! It's happened to me before!"

"Right, well that should have been your sign." She laughed. We both continued talking, trying anything to get my mind off the topic at hand.

That was until the timer beeped. We both froze, staring at each other. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, sighing as I tried to slow down my beating heart.

Eden sat across from me, watching as I looked at the results of the test. Her calm yet undeniably giddy voice asked the question we've been waiting for.
