    ~~~19th Century London~~~
    Loki knocked on an old door. The door swung open and the owner scowled at Loki. 
    "What are you doing here? Thought you were back in Asgard." Theo grunted out. 
    "Theo," Loki started, moving towards him. 
    "What do you want, Loki?" Theo asked, blocking Loki from entering his place. 
    "I'm sorry. Theo, I'm so sorry." Loki said. 
    "Why did you promise me then?" 
    "I couldn't do it to you. I didn't want to have you for so little time and then lose you." Loki admitted. 
    "What do you mean?" Theo asked. 
    "On Asgard, you wouldn't live for long. It's not safe for Midgardians." Loki said. 
    "Is there any way for me to live as long as you then?" Theo asked. 
    "There is. But it's dangerous."
    "Then do it! If it kills me, that's fine. No one will miss me, I've got no one." Theo said. 
    "If it kills you, I'll miss you, Theo." Loki said. 
    "Then don't kill me Loki." Theo said. 
    Loki nodded and walked into Theo's apartment. 
    "Sit down in front of me then. We need to concentrate." Loki said, sitting down on the floor. Theo sat down in front of Loki, his injured leg to the side. 
    "Give me your hands and close your eyes." Loki said, putting his hands out. 
    "What will happen?" Theo asked, gently placing his hands on Loki's. 
    "If the spell works, we'll share lifetimes  essentially. You'll live for as long as I do." Loki said. 
    "Ok. Don't die Loki." Theo said and closed his eyes. 
    "I won't." Loki said and closed his eyes as well. He concentrated on his and Theos lifeforms and eventually, a bright green ball of light came out of Loki's chest and into Theo's. 
    "All finished." Loki said and Theo opened his eyes. 
    "What was that?" Theo asked, rubbing his chest. 
    "I extended your lifetime. If I die, you die. And if you die, I die." Loki said. 
    "Let's hope no one kills any of us." Theo said. 
    "That might be a bit hard, I've got a lot of enemies." Loki said. The door was suddenly flung open and Loki stood in front of Theo to protect him. 
    "Loki Odinson, Theo Bell. The Allfather requests your presence." A royal guard said. 
    "What does that mean?" Theo said, hobbling onto his feet and leaning heavily on his crutch.
