"You promise me that you'll be here after my surgery?" Peter asked.
"I will darlin'. I promise." Harley said, pressing a kiss to Peters forehead.
"Mr Parker, it's time for your heart surgery." The doctor said.
"I love you Peter." Harley said.
"I love you too."

Peter woke up slowly. He tried to sit up but his arms were so weak he couldn't even if his life depended on it.
"Harley?" Peter croaked out, having not used his voice for a good few days.
No response.
"Harley?" Peter said a bit louder. He turned his head to look around the room.
"Peter?" Tony said, walking into the room.
"Where's Harley? He said he'd be here when I woke up." Peter said, tears welling up in his eyes.
"Peter! I'm so sorry. I was getting a coffee and then I got a call about work and I missed you waking up but I'm here now." Harley said, rushing into the room, carrying a coffee cup from the costa in the hospital.
"Harley." Peter said.
"I love you darlin'." Harley said, kissing Peter.
"I love you too."

well i had an idea that the boyfriend actually went to get a drink or a coffee and missed the girlfriend waking up so i wrote this
