Bucky walked out of the shop and towards the pick up truck that Sam was waiting in. They had to stop for snacks halfway through their trip to New York because Bucky ate them all but oh well. They were heading to New York for a meeting with the government about the Avengers and decided that a car trip would be fun.

"Are you Bucky Barnes?" A youngish adult asked the adult.

"Why?" Bucky asked, shifting the bag of snacks to his left hand so he could use his metal arm if needed.

"My great grandmother. She and her sisters always talked about their older brother and he looks exactly like you." The man said.

"What's their names?"

"Rebecca, Margaret, Dorothy and Elizabeth. My grandmother is Rebecca." The youngish man explained.

Bucky stated at the man in shock.

"What's your name?"

"James Barnes Brown. My mother told me that I was named after my great uncle." James said. "That's why I'm asking you. Plus, you're not exactly unknown. Everyone knows who Bucky Barnes is."

"They're still alive?" Bucky asked, his eyes watering.

"Yeah. They're old but still alive." James said.

"Where do they live? Do they live near?" Bucky asked.

"Granny and auntie Beth live in the care home just a couple of streets over. It's auntie Beths birthday so the whole family is there."

"Everyone?"

"Yeah, there's a bunch of us." James said.

"My sisters are still alive?" Bucky asked, still in shock.

"Yeah. I'm sure if you're not busy you'd be welcome to visit them." James said.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah. They love you and they missed you so much." James said.

"Ok. Ok I'll visit them. How old are they? Will they remember me?" Bucky asked.

"Granny's 98, Auntie Maggie is 97, Auntie Dolly is 95 and Auntie Beth is 94. They remember you very well, don't worry." James said, trying to reassure the other James.

Bucky breathed deeply. "Give them a warning that I'm coming. Don't want to give one of them a heart attack."

"I will. I'll see you in a minute." James said before smiling and leaving Bucky in the middle of the car park.

"Who was that?" Sam asked when Bucky returned with the snacks.

"My great grand nephew or something like that. He told me that my sisters are still alive." Bucky said, still not taking the news in.

"Holy shit. Was he serious?" Sam asked, his mouth opened wide in shock.

"Fully. And it's not common knowledge that I have siblings, let alone four sisters so I believe him." Bucky said.

"Where did he say they were? How did he know who you were?" Sam asked.

"He said that Becca and Beth are in the care home a couple of streets away. It's Beths birthday so the whole family's there."

"Do you want to see them?" Sam asked.

Bucky shrugged. "I want to but I don't want to crowd them. Maggie never liked large crowds and Dolly was always scared of loud noises."
