Avengers One Shots Part Two!

Fuzzball

she-hulk is good. so here's a one shot :)
also bruce and jennifer have an age difference of about 5 years according to google

also dates and years are most likely wrong but who cares, it's a fanfic!

(this was started ages ago, like a week after the she-hulk finale maybe?)

"Come meet your baby cousin, Brucie." Morris gestured to his daughter and Bruce peeked over the blanket that Morris was holding.

"What's her name?" Bruce asked, staring at the child.

"Jennifer." Elaine said.

"She looks like a fuzzball." Bruce said and the adults laughed.

"She does. That can be her nickname from you Brucie." Morris said.

"Come on, Bruce. It's time to go now." Rebecca said.

"Bye Uncle Morris, bye Aunty Elaine, bye Fuzzball." Bruce said as his mother dragged him away from the hospital room.

~~~5 years later~~~

"Brucie! Wait for me!" Jennifer shouted as she waddled after her cousin.

"You're going to have to run faster Fuzzball." The two were running down the street in the hot summer sun, the ice cream van just down the street.

Bruce got to the ice cream van first, Jennifer was still halfway down the street. By the time she had got to the van, it started driving away. Jennifer burst into tears as Bruce started eating his ice cream.

"That's not fair!" Jennifer whined, ready to throw a temper tantrum. Bruce laughed and took his other hand from behind his back.

"Did you really think I was so cruel to not get you one, Fuzzball?" Bruce handed the ice cream to the crying girl and laughed as she immediately stopped crying.

"Thanks Brucie!" Jennifer hugged Bruce tightly, getting ice cream all over his shirt.

~~~6 years later~~~

Bruce stepped off the stage and was immediately hugged by his cousin. "Well done Brucie!"

"Thanks Fuzzball." Bruce hugged his cousin back, his gown getting creased in the process.

"Well done Bruce, we're so proud of you." His aunt said.

"Thanks Aunty Elaine." Bruce replied politely.

"Now that you're all smart and finished school, can you help me with my homework?" Jennifer asked.

"Of course I can Fuzzball." Bruce ruffled Jennifer's mop of curly hair.

~~~4 years later~~~

"Well done Bruce!" Jennifer shouted as she hugged her cousin tightly.

"Thanks Jen." Bruce said.

"It should be Dr Bruce, Jen." Her mother said and Bruce and Jennifer rolled their eyes.

"It's just a PhD, Aunty. Not a big deal." Bruce said.

"In physics! I hate physics, I don't get why you decided to study that in university." Jennifer complained.

"You'll understand once you've decided what you want to be, Fuzzball. Not all of us want to sleep professionally." Bruce laughed and Jennifer pouted.

~~~ 10 years later ~~~

"Hey Brucie, I saw the news and I just called to let you know that if you ever need someone to rant to about your new powers kr anything, I'm just a phone call away." Jen said to the voicemail before hanging up.

She clicked away from the news on the tv and opted to watch something more light hearted.

Bruce sighed as his cousin left him another voicemail. He didn't respond to any of Jens voicemails or messages.

He turned his phone off and continued with his research.

~~~ 2 years later ~~~

"Hey Bruce! I saw the news today and that looked so cool! You're like a full blown hero now! You're apart of a superhero group! That's amazing, well done. I'm so proud of you." Jen said to Bruce's voicemail again.

~~~ 2 years later ~~~

"Hey Bruce, I don't even know when you'll get this seeing as you shot yourself into space but when you come back I imagine you won't have somewhere to stay so you're always welcome to come back here. You're my favourite cousin." Jen sighed as she hanged up.

~~~ 7 years later ~~~

Bruce picked up his phone. "Hey Jen, just wondering if you want to go on a road trip or something. Catch up on the past couple of years. Just give me a call or something when you can."
