Sports Day

sometimes i worry about the uk... (it's about the vision tag dw)

anyways, I FUCKING LOVED sports day when i was in primary. the water race was the best!!

i've been feeling nostalgic towards my primary school recently cause it's getting extensions added on and getting changed and it was sunny the other day (Saturday) which reminded me of Sports Day lmao

Houses:

Dunvegan: Yellow (my house. also the smallest. it was the best. i look sickly in the photos cause i'm very pale and wearing yellow when you're already v pale is a bad idea lmao)
Tulloch: Green (biggest house, fucking sucked cause they wan a lot of races)
Urquhart: Blue (small house like Dunvegan but bigger)
Stuart: Red (big house like Tulloch)

The houses were named after castles in Scotland, i've been to two of them (Urquhart and Tulloch) and idk about the colours, blame my primary

fuck it, they in Scotland (just imagine Captain America, with a Scottish accent. just imagine it. is there any Scottish superhero's in the MCU?? if there ain't, i'm rioting)

Parley and SamBucky (these two ships. i love them. if SamBucky ain't canon in tfatws, i'm rioting.)

Peter woke up well before his alarm at 6:30am. He checked the time and saw that it was 5:45am.

Peter debated in his head for a minute before jumping out of bed, far too excited.

You see, today was Sports Day. And Sports Day at Midtown Tech is always hectic. Someone always broke a bone, whether it's a parent, pupil or teacher. (surprisingly not happened(as far as i know))

Peter flung open his cupboard door and found an old yellow t-shirt and a yellow and black wool jumper that he wore when he wanted to pretend to be a bee. (true story. in p5, i wore a yellow and black wool jumper and 'stung' people on sports day. don't know where it's gone now)

He grinned and picked up his gym shorts and underwear and went into his bathroom to get changed.

Peter quickly got changed and went to get breakfast.

Steve, who was just about to go on his morning run with Bucky and Sam, was in the kitchen fixing a healthy drink.

"Morning Peter."
Steve said.

"Morning!"
Peter said cheerfully, taking a bowl out and pouring plain muesli into it. (muesli is nice)

"Want to come on our run today? It's good weather and it'll be your warmup before Sports Day."
Steve offered.

"As long as I can eat my breakfast before we go."

"Yeah. I need to drink this and wake Sam and Bucky up."
Steve said, drinking some of his juice.

"Cool."
Peter said, pouring milk into his bowl.

He took a small spoon out and started eating his cereal. (small spoons over big spoons. everyday)

"Are you excited?"
Steve asked.

"Fuck yes. It's Sports Day. And it's really warm so it'll be really cooling when it's the water race. I love the water race."
Peter rambled. (same peter)

"Did you guys have Sports Day back in the 30's?"
Peter asked.

"Not really. It's not like how it is today but we had similar things. Like sack race. We used old sacks for that."
Steve said.

"I love the sack race! I've always placed for that!"
Peter boasted. (love the sack race. always placed for it. only got 1st once and it was amazing)
