The remaining Avengers sat down at a table, discussing what to do.
"In order to get the Soul Stone, you need to sacrifice what you love most, essentially, a soul for a soul."
Nebula said.
"Who should do it then?"
Clint asked.
"I'll do it. I lost my boyfriend and best friend, what more could I lose."
Steve said.
"But what if the plan works and we get them back, what should we tell them? That you sacrificed yourself to get the stone?"
Tony asked.
"I'm doing it, no one is changing my mind."
Steve said.
"So who do you want to go with you?"
Nebula asked.
"I'll go alone."
Steve said.

"Red Skull, you son of a bitch."
Steve said when he saw the man he thought was dead.
"Captain America, what a pleasure."
Red Skull said.
"A soul for a soul Captain, are you ready to sacrifice yourself, to lose everything that's important to you?"
He asked.
"Go ahead and try, I've already lost everything else."
Steve blacked out and found himself in a pond with the Soul Stone in his hand.
A much skinnier hand.
"That's all?"
Steve laughed.
