Sam and Bucky were facetiming at 3am in the morning. Bucky was on a mission in rural Latvia and managed to finally get a good WiFi signal.
"Guess what I managed to do." Bucky started the call.
"What?" Sam asked, still half asleep.
"I managed to slice my finger open on a can opener and it got infected." Bucky said, showing Sam his bandaged finger.
"Buck, you're such an idiot." Sam said.
"I'm your idiot," Bucky said, propping the phone against a tree.
"Forever!" He whisper-shouted, pointing to the silver bit of metal on his ring finger.
"And I don't regret anything." Sam said.
"I'll let you get back to sleep. I love you Sammy." Bucky said, smiling at the phone.
"I love you too Jamie, try not to get caught." Sam said, his eyes slipping shut.
"I won't." Bucky said and ended their facetime call.
Bucky put his phone back into the safe bag and tied it to his body. He continued his trek into the deep woods.
Sam didn't hear the beep of the call disconnecting and kept on sleeping, the occasional snore breaking the silence in the lonely room.
i'm writing a ghost story for english and the two main characters are gay for each other. you guys know Blair and Nora from the Sports Day one shot right? well the main characters are those two cause i love the name Blair :)
