Avengers One Shots Part Two!

Fury sings 'Into The Unkown'

If you guys have read my previous one shot book, you might remember reading one where Fury sang 'Let it go' and because I recently watched Frozen II (not as bad as I thought it would be) I decided to do this one :) (this was started in like June/July 2020! lmao)

"Do it! Do it! Do it! Do it!" Clint and Peter chanted. Fury sighed, agitated by the two Avengers.

"Come on Fury! Just do it!" Tony shouted.

"Alright, give me ten minutes." Fury stood up and disappeared from the common room, the cheers of the drunk/sugar high Avengers following him.

Exactly ten minutes later, Fury walked back into the common room. He stalked over to the large windows and assumed the starting pose. The room went silent as the beginning cords of 'Into The Unknown' started. (the patd version of course)

"Into the unknown! Into the unknown! Into the unkno-o-own!" Fury hit the high notes with surprising accuracy.

The team cheered him on.

"I can hear you. But I won't. Some look for trouble, while others don't." Peter and Clint started singing along with him.

"There's a thousand reasons I should go about my day, and ignore your whispers which I wish would go away!" Fury turned around to the team and started walking around.

"You're not a voice, you're just a ringing in my ear. And if I heard you, which I don't, I'm spoken for I fear. Everyone I've ever loved is here within these walls! I'm sorry secret siren, but I'm blocking out your calls. I've had my adventure, I don't need something new, I'm afraid of what I'm risking if I follow you, into the unknown! Into the unknown! Into the unkno-o-own."

"Aw he loves us!" Tony said, wiping his fake tears away.

"What do you want?" Fury ignored Tony. "Cause you've been keeping me awake, are you here to distract me so I make a big mistake?"

"Or are you someone out there, who's a little like me? Who knows deep down I'm not where I'm meant to be? Every days a little harder as I feel my power grow. Don't you know there's a part of me that longs to go into the unknown? Into the unknown! Into the unkno-o-own!" Fury belts out the words to the song, Peter and Clint are nothing compared to how strongly Fury is singing. Fury opened the window and sang out to the city.

"Are you out there? Do you know me? Can you feel me? Can you show me?" The team were crying by how amazing Fury's singing was. When Fury hit the high notes, everyone was stunned.

"Where are you going? Don't leave me alone. How do I follow you, into the unknown?" Fury finished the song, not even out of breathe.

The room was silent. Until Peter and Clint stood up and started clapping slowly, but not in the sarcastic way. The slow clap you do when someone does something so breathtaking that it takes a while to take it in before it becomes louder and faster as more people join in.

The rest of the team stood up and joined the two clapping. Steve whistled loudly and the others cheered. Fury bowed as roses fell down from the ceiling, most likely Tony's doing with help from FRIDAY and Clint.

"That. Was. The BEST performance I've ever seen." Tony wiped his real tears away as he sat down.

"I didn't know you could sing that high Mr Director Fury!" Peter said, shaking from all of the sugar he had consumed.

"It's one of his secrets, Peter." Maria said, bringing her beer bottle up to her mouth.

please give me suggestions on what songs fury should sing (preferably disney/dreamworks from like kids movies) i've already got an idea for what song (hint, it's from tangled ;))
