Without You

chapter 8

Ashton pov

I wake up in the pitch black the suns not even up yet but I have to catch my flight back home WITH Blake I can't wait I get to spend 3 hours sitting next to MY girl and then getting to spend a whole 3 days in her company oh yeah and our families it'll be good to see them too. 

I pull myself out of bed and finish packing before I have to pick up Blake from her place @5 and head to the airport. I throw 3 hoodies 2 pairs of jeans a couple of t shirts and 1 nice pair of shoes and then a crappy pair into my duffle bag I don't feel the need to pack as much as blake seeing as I don't plan on wearing normal clothes the whole time I plan on being on the beach catching a tan right next to MY girl. 

I make my way out the door leaving Trevor and my college life behind for a bit. What a relief this is gonna be not having to worry about all the classes, practices, and girls for a week not that I really mind the girls there's just one specific girl that I have my eye on and she's coming with me. I pull up to Blakes building and instantly get a flashback of the other day sleeping on this apartment floor and waking up to Blake tripping over me I still have a bruise from that and finally getting to wrap MY girl in my arms never wanting to let her go or let another soul touch her again. I shoot her a text as i park the car 

"hey i'm here you coming down?" i get an instant reply 

"just come up i'm finishing packing a few things and i'll need your help anyway" 

"okay on my way up see you in a few" I reply 

as I make my way to the door i hear the faint sound of music is that coming from her room surly not she wouldn't be listening to that as i open the door i hear ice cubes no vaseline blasting from a speaker in the bathroom 

"Blake?"

 "in here!!" I hear her yell from the bathroom as I enter the room I see her on the countertop putting on makeup and singing the song word for word 

"that's new" I say

"what? The makeup? No I've had this for a while" she questions 

"no i just didn't know you knew this song especially word for word" I say

 "oh yeah i do ya know one of those frat party songs you just pick up the words" she says

 "okay well you ready to go we need to be leaving soon" I ask

 "does it look like I'm ready?" she says applying mascara? I think 

"you know we're just going to the airport right" I say

 "yes and you never know what cute pilots you could run into" this makes me cringe 

"you know I heard pilots are real douchebags" I say

"I don't care what you think you heard Ashton if a "douchebag" pilot can fly me around the world especially for free I'm there" she says I would too if I was her 

 "whatever Blake just hurry up you got 10 minutes you can't be late for your surprise" I say

 "surprise what do you mean what is it" she asks

 "telling you would defeat the whole purpose of a surprise Blake"  

 "I'll start putting your stuff in the car just hurry" 

 "okay Ashton it's just the two bags right there I'll get the other one"

 "why don't you want me to get that one did you pack your sex toys or something" I tease jokingly 

"NO!" she yells in a somewhat high pitched voice her tell that she's lying 

"OMG you total did"
