Chapter 21

Ashton's pov

As we ride in the car everything is silent just the sound of the car on the asphalt till I hear a voice whisper from behind me 

"so are you gonna hook up with him?" Caroline says

 "what!" Blake says catching everyone's attention for a quick second

 "quiet we don't want them to know" caroline says after everyone stopped staring at them

 "Caroline you're insane" Blake says nobody's hooking up with MY girl on my watch 

"no I'm just a good friend that's trying to get you some dick" caroline tells her

 "I don't need dick I mean not new dick" Blake says whos the old dick Henderson?

"So you wanna hook up with someone old who you got in mind" Caroline asks yes answer I wanna know 

"uh no one I'm just trying to say is that I'm not sure im over my last guy" Blake tells her ME?! 

"Oh he was that good" Caroline asks 

"Caroline you have no idea" Blake says oh my god I'm the no idea I'm the someone

"you might have to give me his number" whoa there care all this is reserved for MY girl

"caroline!" Blake yells in a whisper

 We pull up outside the club as we get out the girls notice the line around the building "well great we'll never get in" Blake says

 "not too soon love, being a world champion in any field has its perks" I say to her I then grab her hand and lead everyone to the door of the club I tell the bouncer my name and he looks down his list and finds my name and lets us in still holding Blakes hand I lead everyone to the VIP area I scheduled for us earlier

 "so what do you guys wanna do first drinks? Dancing?" I ask turning around with Blake still holding her hand not planning to let go looking at everyone we see their faces they have the look of uncertainty on them like they don't know if they should say anything I drop Blakes hand immediately and stick my hands in my pockets I look up to see Josh's face he's the second person I wouldn't ever want to hurt but he looks at me like he's extremely hurt but also like he's in disbelief of what he saw this cuts me deep I don't want to upset Josh he's my best friend I turn away from everyone and walk to a booth located in the corner as I do so everyone disperses Lucka and Josh walk over and sit down with me I keep my head down so I don't have to look in Josh's eyes they don't say anything to me at first but finally Lucka pipes up 

"so what kind of chick are you thinking of banging tonight Ashton?" I look up from the table to see Josh sitting across from me his eyes meet mine and send me a look that says "what the hell was that dude" is send back an "im sorry" one I turn to face Lucka 

"I was thinking brunette" I say

 "so so like an Erica or Robin" Lucka says I send him a puzzled look

 "what? Yeah sure" I say

 "SHOTS!" Blake yells we look over to see the girls at the bar with an order of 4 vodka shots being poured Lucka and Josh leave to go take shots with her

 After a while the tension between Josh and I settles and we actually start to have fun we go dancing and the guys have a few drinks and I get a virgin lemonade after a while we find ourselves back at our VIP area sitting in the booth having some drunk talk

 "I swear dudes she's soooo pretty" Josh says he really has a lot of love for caroline

 "then why don't you propose already" I ask him
