Chapter 42

~~a few hours later~~

After talking and catching up with the boys we headed over to the party at Omega Nu as we made our way in people started to come up to me congratulating me on the race I think them and continue to look around the party trying to find someone I actually knew when a guy chatting up some girls catches my eye I start to make my way over to him

"sick riding today dude" Trevor says

"Thanks, Trev" I say my acknowledgment of him makes the ladies seem more interested in him but oddly enough none of the girls try and talk to me that's weird normally girls are all over me could it be because of what I said in the interview as I'm thinking I a feel a buzz in my pocket taking my phone out I see that Blake had texted me

"hey I forgot to ask you earlier but where is this party at?" I read

"so you're actually coming?" I question her

"Yes sir now where is it I'm dying to be with you" she says lighting a little something inside me

"don't tempt me baby"

"I'll try my best" she tells me only making the feeling grow

"it's at the Omega Nu" I finally answer

putting my phone in my pocket I go back to the conversation Trevor is having with the girls just listening for a little bit "so I was on top of this guy punching him right and left until this guy comes and pulls me off" Trevor says lying to these poor girls and implementing me into it damn there really eating this up I continue to listen to Trevor tell this elaborate lie until I get bored looking around the room seeing a damn goddess walk through the door getting out my phone I text her again

"you're doing a shit job of not tempting me babygirl" I watch her as she reads it looking up making eye contact with me then texting back

"maybe that was the plan all along" I read her text and smile at it putting my phone away i start to make my way towards her as she does the same meeting me halfway

"there's my star"

"I don't think I'm the star tonight baby"

"what do you mean everyone's staring at you"

"no baby they're looking at you" I look around the room seeing everyone eye up MY girl

"come on baby let's dance" I say taking her hand and guiding her to the dance floor we dance for a little bit bumping and grinding until I get thirsty deciding to go get a drink for me and Blake I lean over and tell her

"I'm gonna be right back darling" kissing her on the cheek before maneuvering my way through the crowd when I reach the kitchen I grab two cups out of the stack making my way to the sink to get myself water

"Ashton that's a hottie your dancing with out there it be a real shame if I stole her from you" a random guy says to me

"it be funny to see you try" I say to him kind of laughing it off going back to the drink I was getting Blake grabbing the vodka and starting to pour it into the cup until I hear her voice

"where are you taking me" she says

"to Ashton" a male voice says I start to turn around to go to her until I'm yanked back by a girl smashing her lips on mine I try and pull away but I can't shes holding the back of my head down to hers

"fuck you Ashton Baylor" I hear Blake yell at me the girl then releasing me in time to see Blake turn the corner out of the kitchen to the front door

I rush after her pulling a crowd with me she doesn't turn to face me until we make it to the sidewalk I reach for her arm but she snaps at me

"do not touch me" she says I let go looking over her face seeing the tears streak down her face and her flustered red cheeks
