Without You

Chapter 31

 We pull into the dorm parking lot I park the car quickly getting out and rushing over to her side before she gets a chance to get out partly out of breath I open her door seeing her surprised face when I open it 

I sarcastically say "how dare you to think you can open your in my car"

 picking up on the sarcasm she retorts "I know how dare I try and be independent" 

she then gets out of the car and we make our way to the trunk popping it open getting her bag out I look down into the trunk at the bag I wonder if our little black friend is in that bag like it was when we left Blake takes notice of my staring and asks 

 "can I help you sir" 

 "can I carry the bag?" I asked her 

"what? What bag?" she asks confused

 "you know the bag" I say not wanting to say the bag with the vibrator in it in the school dorm parking lot 

"oh my makeup bag here" finally picking up on what I was trying to say she hands me the bag and we start our walk inside I follow her up to her dorm when we reach the door she just stops doesn't touch the door handle to open it or knock so that somebody can unlock it

 "aren't you going to open the door" I ask her

 "give it a second I texted Ellie" she informs me just then the door flies open like she summoned her by the mention of her name Ellie along with Haze fly out of the door and tackle Blake to the ground in a hug 

"it's nice to see you guys to" Blake says breathlessly under them 

"sorry princess we just missed you so much it felt like you were gone for a year" Haze says getting off of her and giving her a hand up 

"Guys it's been four days" she tells them yeah only 4 days

"We know but it just felt like so long without you" Ellie says not long enough 

"hey what am I chopped liver" I speak up 

"Oh hi Ash" Ellie says 

"yes you are now both of you get your asses in here" Haze says inviting us in

 "so tell us all about the trip every gritty detail" Haze says I look to Blake in a what do we leave out kind of way

 "There weren't really gritty details" Blake takes the lead

 "really you didn't even hook up with anyone" Ellie asks hey I'm not just anyone 

"no nobody it was a sexless trip" Blake tells them again 

 "yeah it was pretty boring anyways I have to leave" I say contributing to the lie and getting the hell out of there

 "why where are you going" Haze asks

 "I have to go back to my dorm and get ready for practice" I say not a lie I do have to go practice

 "already?" Ellie asks me 

"you know the grind never stops" I say that was cringy but anything to get out of here 

"okay bye then" Ellie says stiffly 

"see ya later" Haze says 

"bye then everyone" I say looking over to Blake who hasn't said anything she hops off her bed and walks towards me and hugs me I wrap my arms around her a little on edge of what she's doing I mean right in front of them

 "bye Ashton I'll see you later" she says I feel her start to melt into my chest so I start to do the same feelings of the love I have for her starting up I start to respond 

"bye ba-" I hear the words process in my mind and snap out of my euphoria cutting myself off "Blake" I say 

Blake also realizing what word I was gonna say pulls her head off my chest letting go and looks at me she turns and goes back to her bed. I walk out the door closing it behind me walking out the building and out to my car getting in and laying my head on the steering wheel 

"stupid stupid stupid" I say to myself lightly banging my head on the wheel lifting my head I look at myself in the rearview mirror "why'd you do that their probably talking about you now nice going" I sigh putting the car in reverse and pull out when I get to my place I unlock the door and open it to a dark room I walk in and place my stuff on the bed and then hear some commotion from the other side of the room I turn and see a girl and underneath her Trevor

 "oh come on trev you couldn't put a sock on the door or something" I say covering my eyes and running out of the room

 "Sorry dude I wasn't expecting you til tomorrow" I hear him say as I leave the room going back down to my car I leave my dorm parking lot and head to the track for some practice.
