Chapter 68

After dinner, we walk down the street taking in the scenery and the New York hustle and bustle the night just as lively as the day. Stopping to watch the street artist playing music and dancing a bit.

Then as we made our way back to Ashton's car I stopped him "dance with me" I say

"right now? Right here?" he questions

"yes" I say putting arms around his neck

"there's not even music" he says I roll my eyes and grab my phone turning on music I play The Night We Met by Lord Huron

as the music starts i grab Ashton slow dancing with him swaying back and forth to the beat Ashton then spins me out and back to him rotating our dancing loosening up he continues to lead me as we slow dance down the street spinning me again he dips me i through my head back letting my hair fall my love bubbling up and overflowing "i love you" i exclaim so freely Ashton brings me backup and instead of saying anything he kisses me not letting go as the song fades out he spins me once more allowing me to go all the way letting go i grab my phone and then his hand and we walk back to the car in silence like nothing just happened. we drive back to the hotel and i cant help to think did he hear me i think he did but he hasn't said anything i can't believe that i said it it just came so naturally in the moment i don't even know if i meant to say it as we pull up into the vale the guy opens my door and Ashton hands him the keys i walk into the hotel Ashton not far behind me i stand in the elevator and wait for him

"is something wrong?" he asked me

"I love you" I say to him again this time in a slightly annoyed tone

"I know" he said I turn around to him "I heard you but I didn't know what to say"

"I love you too" I say in a questioning voice he takes a step towards me almost against me

"I am completely hopelessly in love with you Mrs.Blake Marie Stone-Baylor" he says I left breathless he takes his finger and guides my mouth to his restoring the breath in my lungs
