In the car, I stare out the window thinking about Ashton and Josh I really hope one of them is not dead when we get back I hear caroline talking in the background of my thoughts but there too overpowering I told Ashton to stay away from josh but I hope they talk maybe they can work it out themselves oh who am I kidding that's not going to happen
"So I was thinking we should get snacks for tonight"
"yeah"
"and we can watch movies"
"Whatever you want"
"I was also thinking we could go extreme skydiving"
"yep what time does it close"
"Blake are you even listening to me"
"totally" I turn my focus from my thoughts to caroline when I feel her hit my arm "what was that for"
"tell me one thing I said" im at a loss for words because I wasn't listening
"Sorry I was thinking"

"The boys I just can't stand their fighting"
"tell me about it josh wouldn't budge last night not a word about what he was mad about"

"I can't we have to lose them first" I say making shifty eye movements to my mom and heather who are caught up in their own conversation

We pull up outside the mall caroline and I get out leaving the moms with the babies to park the car we head inside to start shopping
"So who are you shopping for" caroline asks me

"you're not gonna stop till I tell you are you"

"Okay fine let's go sit down"
"why sit down" she asks me
"because if you don't I think you'll cause a scene" I tell her we make our way over to a table in the corner of the food court and sit I start to mentally prepare myself for this and caroline stares at me intently when im ready I take a deep breathe and blurt it out "Im dating Ashton"
"I knew it" she says with a smile "since when"

"so you lied to me" she says sort of offended
"I've lied to everyone"
"so that's what Josh is so mad about"
"yeah, he found out a few weeks ago"

"sure you can just not in front of everyone" I look at her puzzled "follow me" she says grabbing my hand and dragging me through the mall to Victoria's Secret "this is how you gift yourself" she says as we walk in
"anything I can help you ladies with" the sales associate says when we enter
"yes she" caroline says gesturing to me "needs lingerie"
"right over here" the lady says guiding us to the lingerie section "let me know if you need anything else" the lady says walking away caroline and I start to sift through the racks
"What exactly are we looking for" caroline asks me
"something lacy maybe red with a boy" I tell her
"like this" she says pulling one off a rack I look it up and down and are astonished "girl my whole coochie would be out"
"okay so more coverage got it" caroline says putting it back I flip through rack upon rack looking for the perfect outfit for him but nothing is right until I come across THE ONE a red lace bodysuit tied together on the sides with a ribbon forming a bow at the hip that with the slightest tug it will come undone and enough coverage to leave something to the imagination but most importantly a dainty little bow right in between the breast
"this one" I say to caroline holding it up to her
"oh my god yes" she says grabbing it from me and heading to check out. We leave the store and I mentally debate with myself
"what?" caroline asks
"I just- do I get him something else or is that it"
"well look at it like this you got him what he wanted but he just has to wait for it"
