I walk into my room and sigh processing what I just did. not regretting it just processing I walk over to my mirror and look at myself silently screaming touching the material on my body HIS hoodie calming down and still smiling I go to pack picking up clothes off the floor my jeans and sweater from thanksgiving when me and Ashton had our semi fight the dress I wore to the club the night I realized that I hurt him and how I never regret anything with Ashton I walk into my bathroom and am confronted with more memories of this trip like my vibrator the same place its been since that first day when me and Ashton had our first of our many experiences looking down I see his hoodie the first year still with remnants of cupcake on it from that awmazing makeout session picking up all my clothes and things I put them in my suitcase as I hear a knock at the door
"come in" I yell and the door opens up
¨are you almost ready babes" heather says
"yeah almost im all packed just have to ready myself" I say
"so about earlier" she starts
"oh god" I say facepalming
"nothing bad promise I just wanted to say that if you two are an item me and your mother both support it" she tells me which makes me happy but I don't show it
"heather there's nothing" I tell her
"Okay but don't be afraid to tell us if I'm being honest we would love it if you two were together" she tells me
"okay heather thank you tell josh I'll be down in a minute" I say
"okay Blake love you" she says leaving I finish getting ready and go downstairs to say goodbye and leave as I walk into the kitchen I see all of my family including Ashton sitting at the table they turn to look at me as I enter
"Woah that was creepy" I say making them all burst out in laughter
"you ready to go sis" Josh says finishing laughing
"yeah"I say
"Okay we'll leave in a second but can I talk to you first" Josh says walking me out of the kitchen away from everyone
"whats up bro" I ask
"I just wanted to know if I have your permission to marry caroline"
"What!" I say so excited
"well I know she's just like a sister to you so I wanted your permission"
"josh oh my god yes yes yes a thousand times yes" I say throwing myself around him in a big hug
"it's about damn time" I say as I pull out of the hug
"yeah" Josh says chuckling we walk back into the kitchen me with the biggest smile on my face
"Why are you so smiling" Ashton asked me
"Have you told him yet?" I ask Josh
"yeah he knows" Josh says
"know what what do I know" Ashton asks
"what I told you on club night in my drunken state" Josh says
"huh?" Ashton says still confused
"I'll tell you later" I tell him
"kay are you guys ready to go" Josh asks us
"yeah" we both say picking up our bags and heading to the door everyone following to say goodbyes we stand in the driveway
"we're gonna miss you both" heather says my mom standing behind her nearly in tears
I turn around and give caroline a hug her squeezing me tight as all hell "caroline im going to see you in a month"
"I know but I'm just gonna miss you so much" she says to me
"it'll fly by but I can't come see you again if you squeeze me to death" I tell her
"oh my bad" she says letting go and stepping back
"so are you guys gonna come to my race" Ashton asks
"when is it honey" my mom says sucking up her tears
"the 8th the willow brook raceway" he says
"we'll probably watch on tv" Heather says sometimes I honest hate heather for the simple fact that at the worst time she chooses to be the most unsupportive parent I mean you can clearly tell that this race is important to him
"really mom you know this is the race that will qualify me for worlds"
"that's wonderful honey I just don't want to fly out there for that" heather says Bitch
"ugh whatever mom Blake you ready to go" he asks me
"yeah I'm ready" I say hopping in the car I look back as we take off out the driveway watching my family fade in the distance I turn back around to listen to Josh and Ashtons conversation
"can you believe her ¨i just don't want to fly out for that¨ for what support your son" Ashton rants about his mother
"I get it dude it was completely ignorant of her" Josh says
"AAAA just makes me wanna scream" Ashton says
"hey don't let her get to you if it makes you feel any better ill be there" I tell him putting my hand on his shoulder in a comforting way he turns and smiles at me
"Thanks Blake at least ill have one supporter" he says
"Hey I'll be supporting just from home" Josh says
"yes Josh I know just you know what I mean in person" Ashton says the rest of the car ride we jamming to whatever came on the radio pulling up to the airport looking like a bunch of idiots making everyone stop and stare at our car Ashton and I get out the car Josh helping us unload our bags when all is said and done we hug Josh goodbye and walk into the airport
"So now we're family free" Ashton says to me
"yeah" I say
"you know what that means" he says
"no what?" I ask him
"I can do this" he says slipping his hand on my cheek and softly kissing me he pulls away and I speak
"how long can you do that for" I ask him
"as long as you want baby" he tells me
"so till we get home got it" I say starting to walk away
"what do you mean till we get home? Do you not want me to touch you at college" he asks
"I just don't want to tell anybody yet you get that don't you?"
"Yeah I guess" he says grabbing my hand walking with me through the airport to the terminal we board our plane taking seats right next to each other
