Chris was persistent about me coming home with him, but I convinced him to let me go home and get a shower. Eventually, he caved in and drove me. "I'll have Mackie pick you up when you're ready." I nodded and got out of the car. "Y/N," I turned back and looked at Chris, "Just wanted to remind you that you lost to me today." I rolled my eyes and walked into my apartment.

I kicked off my shoes and placed them in the corner. Then, I grabbed fruit water out of my freezer. I walked to my bathroom. My eyes went to the lace front. I was so tired of wearing it. Barely thinking about it, I grabbed the glue remover and started taking it off. Next was the cap, and then, I felt a wave of relief drown. I liked wearing my natural hair. I just needed to get comfortable wearing it around people.

I took out my braids, oiling my hands in the process. Then, I grabbed some rollers from my cabinets. I moused my hair and rolled the roller in it. One by one, I rolled my hair into them. Then, I placed it in a bonet to protect it until I took it down. After that, I go in the shower, shaving.

I hopped out and went to my closet to find something relaxing to wear, but most of my stuff was packed. I decided to open up my luggage. I dig through, pulling out a crop top and a matching skirt with a slit. I decided on this and went back to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and washed my face.

I took out the rollers let my hair down.

I didn't waste time and put on lotion and perfume. Then, I placed on the dress. I don't like the color on me, and I left like it was a little too much for a dinner date, so I just put on another outfit.

I texted Chris that I was ready. He texted back, saying he was sending a car. By the time the car came, I was trying my best not to fall asleep. When I opened the door, Mackie was posted up outside.
