Dispatch: 9-1-1 what is your emergency?

Caller: I work at the GATE, something is wrong, it is spitting out radiation. We are measuring 17 grays at the GATE itself.

Dispatch: Alright, I need you to get to a thick room, preferably concrete and without windows.

Dispatch: Attention Goalaria Fire, attention Goalaria Fire. Citywide alert, all companies, radiation leak, proceed to the Orderia ave and York blvd fore staging location. Military and police is being sent as well.

Loudspeaker: Protocol 1 is now in effect due to a radiological threat, all residents are to seek shelter immediately. Get to your basements and avoid windows. Those of you unable to enter a basement proceed to fallout shelters. Do not exit until military personnel announce an all clear. If you must exit before this time wear gas masks and protective gear.

Location: NO military headquarters of Remnant

Time: 1330 local time

Marshal Ventuas: I want answers now, what do you mean by "no contact with Earth"?

ONI officer: It is just that sir, we have no contact, the GATE dumped out radiation at a level of a nuclear detonation within a few miles. The GATE has been unstable since this happened.

Marshal Ventuas: Protocol 32-A, I am considered leader of all NO forces we locate until contact is established with the leader. He is presumed alive but we are on our own. Martial law is now in effect. Make efforts to get the GATE operational or contain the radiation leak.

ONI officer: Yes sir.

Location: Patch

Time: 1400 local time

Helicopters flew over carrying soldiers and firefighters towards Goalaria, to the average person on Patch it was odd at most and worrying at worst. However a few girls that we all know happen to have a radio that was only able to receive transmissions, it was tuned into NO tactical-1. The chaos from the pilots and rescue crews was clear. Something went very wrong in the city. They made out a few things: hight casualties, a leak, and that these soldiers may be the last.

Ruby: I haven't heard them panic before, not even when their defenses broke in Vale, what do you think is leaking?

Yang: No idea, I heard them say "is it radiological or nuclear?" but I don't know what that is.

Ruby: Didn't they say nuclear bombs were super weapons. Did one go off in their city?

Radio: This is Marshal Ventuas to all available NO military forces, at this time I am acting leader of New Orderia until contact is reestablished with Earth. We cannot fall, do your duty and save lives, the future of the nation depends on you.

Radio: GFD Commissioner L Haver broadcasting on all channels, we need help, hundreds are injured, anyone willing to help report to the GFD command post at York blvd and Glance street for assignments.

Ruby: We need to get over there is we want to find anything out.

Yang: You are probably right about that, I'll pack my things.

The sounds of fire trucks passing on nearby streets seemed constant as tons of rescue crews converged on the massive radiation leak.
