Quarantine

A/N: the last chapter was a year befor the more resent chapters.

Present day:

Mission objective: destroy SA-3 trees to prevent new forms of virus.

Units involved: IDTF DELTA and ALPHA, ONI SWAT, CEDA, Military armor, and assault groups, 1st Fighter group, 3 Bomber group, 1 Naval Fleet, NO MAC AG(massive rail gun/artillery)4, 34  helicopter groups, 5 paratrooper battalion

Notice: if mission fails NO MAC AG 4 is to fire destroying the mountain and killing anything nearby, this will be danger close(it will kill friendly units)

Secondary objective: Rescue anyone still in the town.

At noon the next day tons of units arrived at the entrances to the quarentine zone. Within an hour they had begun the raid. They had to destroy 5 locations with either bombs or fire.

Radio: this is NOReD H4-5-89 our group is stranded and being overrun.

Radio: we are at the college main buildi- what the acuptual fu-*static*

radio: all units this is command, the navy has been approved to use all local ships to bomb this town. Get to a safe location.

Bombshells hit across the mountain city. The reason this was approved was the first complete version of SA-3. It was a massive humanoid that was made of a treelike material. At the rate things were going the mountain may need to be blown up.

Then 3 more of the things stood up, the military began to fight back in full force.

Radio: all units within 25 miles are to respond immediately.

That included the local police to begin evacuations.

Then an IDTF OMEGA jet flew over before dropping Napalm bombs on the things. Due to the SA viruses being a parasite similar to fungus the napalm severely weakened the giants making the tanks able to effectively kill them with a few shots.

Operation status: success.
