Location: Somewhere on Remnant, with the 1st Shock Corp

The 1st Shock Corp is rarely deployed, and when it is things are going to get fucked up. NO shock corps are used for assaulting positions, one corp alone could take well defended city. These corps are armed with the best weaponry, have supporting heavy artillery(howitzers or battleship cannons) and field artillery(mortars), and have multiple armored divisions to aid in ramming through defenses. Armored divisions assigned to a shock corp are not built for speed or for all around use, they are built to as battering rams and a mobile gun. As such they are given superior armor, and much larger guns(150 as opposed to the standard 120mm).

What is the 1st Shock doing on Remnant? Fighting the wildlife. Now unlike hunter's and huntress's many attempts to clear out the Grimm these soldiers are going in with heavy fire support. Now the region the soldiers will start in is at the edge of NO territory, they will then push north through Vale's territory until the Mistral border. To carry this out the 1st through 10th armies were called up to support the 1st Shock.

Operation Hand of God:

Objective: Fully remove the Grimm as a threat.

Secondary Objectives: Establish new communication metaphors and improve logistics across Remnant, Take out local insurrection/bandit threats to aid in Operation Foehammer.

Units assigned: 1st Shock Corp, 1st Army, 2nd Army, 3rd Army, 4th Army, 5th Army, 6th Army, 7th Army, 8th Army, 9th Army, 10th Army, 1st Strategic Bomber Squadron, 2nd Strategic Bomber Squadron, 1st CAS Bomber Squadron, 2nd CAS Bomber Squadron, 3rd CAS Bomber Squadron, 9th NR Fleet.

A tank column rolled down a poorly maintained dirt road. There was a mix of LAVs and larger military transport trucks following with APCs scattered. Above them helicopters flew wit soldiers' legs dangling out over the trees. A few jets flew over and seconds later the sound of napalm bombs being dropped boomed through the forest. Bursts of gunfire from CAS jets was almost constantly happening as the soldiers moved down the road. Some LAVs had two flags waving off the back, the first being the NO flag with the NO seal being replaced by the Army logo(effectively the same thing but with rifles crossed and a vertical sword through the middle), the second was an all black flag. Now why is this black flag important? It is a warning to any hostiles NO forces encounter, it symbolizes that NO soldiers will likely execute any insurgent or bandit forces they find, even if they surrender.

Is this a war crime? Yes. Do the New Orderians care? They already use napalm daily so probably no.

Tank commander: Contact 300, 50 meters!

The tank turret rotated and fired a shell into a mob of Grimm. Soldiers got out of the trucks and opened fire into the forest as the 50 cals unloaded into the trees. The tanks rotated and began to drive into the forest while still firing into the trees. Trees were pushed over and the soldiers followed the tanks in. The soldiers kept pushing until they were swarmed by Grimm.

Soldier: SB 1-22 requesting CAS on the red smoke, friendlies marked by green smoke.

The soldiers tossed smoke grenades and the bombers flew over. Napalm ignited the area and wiped out any Grimm nearby. The soldiers cheered and continued clearing the forest. 20 miles away a few soldiers walked into a village.

Sergeant: Remain calm! We are here to clear out the Grimm and any insurgent groups! This is not an invasion or an attack on you!

Radio: Be advised, the NOSS Tambora is about to launch 2 Rancor class nuclear weapons, targets have been sent to your MDTs, all advances are to halt until bombs have detonated.
