The Other Side

Response (originally 2 separate parts, just combined for simplicity)

Loudspeaker: the city is under attack, get to a safe location immediately!

Air raid sirens were going off throughout the city as Grimm entered.

Ozpin: Mr McGrath if we could be of assistance.

James: Oh thank god, I need you to head towards the center of the city. The place is probably being swarmed.

Ruby: we won't let you down!

James: And thanks.

As teams RWBY, JNPR, CRDL and CFVY left they saw smoke rising out of buildings. They then noticed a building explode from one side and out the other as it was hit by a damaged plane.

Pyrrha: Oh my.

As they got on the bulkheads and had their weapons handed back they saw military trucks driving into the city. Once the landed in the city center they saw an ambulance on its side with rubble from a destroyed building covering the streets. As they walked they saw a dead body with its guts exposed and on fire.

Weiss: That smell.

Yang: Ruby, don't look.

They heard a burst of automatic fire coming from down the street. When they arrived they saw police cars, SWAT trucks and Army vehicles surrounding a city block and some fire trucks and ambulances. There was people running into an elementary school on the block. Suddenly a building across the street had a nevermore collide with it resulting in the structure collapsing.

Officer: Get over here!

As they approached the police officer asked them why they were outside.

Ruby: we are hunters and huntresses from Vale.

Trooper: Okay, can you fight?

Officer: Athena no, we aren't using children

Blake: Actually we are your best shot at living

Officer: fine

Cardin: Why are you letting Faunus in?

The Trooper walked up behind Cardin before putting him in handcuffs.

Athena: You sir, are under arrest for conspiracy to commit murder, assault or other crimes. 

Cardin: what the fuck? Guys, Help!

Cardin was dragged towards the school.

Ruby: Alright guys, let's save some people.

Gunfire was still heard everywhere as soldiers from Earth and local bases arrived in the city. As team RWBY, JNPR, CVFY and most of team CRDL walked through Goalaria they saw more and more disaster sights. Suddenly they heard crying from a small girl. Then there was growling from Grimm. Ruby quickly shot the Grimm through the eye.

The team approached the damaged tower where the crying was coming from to find a little kid pulling on a man's arm. The man was under rubble from and pieces of a fighter jet that covered almost his whole bod except for his arm and a foot.

Pyrrha: I'll call professor Ozpin

Ozpin: hello? Is everything alright?

Pyrrha: we found a small girl.

Ozpin: do you know which part of the city you are in?

Ruby: the building says 343 and a sign across the street says Orange and columbine.

James: That is in the residential area, I'll have a group of soldiers and medics sent your way.

Pyrrha: a bit back the police were barricading of a school. I think that is where people are heading.

James: Orange Street Elementary, big building due to the large number of kids. Glad we know, we lost contact with the entire city center.

Within 20 minutes troops arrived and secured the area. They also brought Tanks and APCs to defend the location.

Soldier: here

The soldier gave each team a hand radio so they could report to soldiers directly.

The teams decided to split up and find survivors.

With team RWBY:

A loud noise followed by explosions was heard by the team

Weiss: what was that?

Yang: probably a bomb.

Weiss: but the first sound?

Yang: no idea.

As they turned a corner they saw burning buildings and fighter jets bombing towers.

Ruby: Why are they bombing their own buildings?

Suddenly a building collapsed and from the hole cam a Grimm missing it's leg before it died in the flames

Ruby: That explains a lot.

They kept walking before they heard honking from a car.

They saw a man trapped in an upside down sports car which was on fire.

Yang jogged over and blew open the door with her gauntlet.

Weiss: head towards the Orange Street Elementary School. The Army is setting up defenses.

After 2 days of combat the Grimm were pushed out. The teams from beacon involved were given the highest award possible. Shortly after that the existence of New Orderia was made public.
