Radio: 87th, ready to fire on your mark.

The past two days of the operation were slow. NO airborne units had been dropped across the AO, taking points of interest for the military. The Vale government threatened war for this move, but it had become clear a long time ago that this wasn't an option. As such the NO army ignored their threats and continued, the roads necessary were under NO control and it was now a matter of cutting up the country and establishing borders.

This cutting up the country is what is leading to the most issues, NO forces were now the enemy of nearly every local government and insurgent group. The Kistiyans were the first functional military the the New Orderians ran into. The rebels had matured in the past few months, going from a ragtag movement into a full army with the ability to wage war very effectively. The NO soldiers on the ground had only one real advantage over them in a one on one fight: fear.

The New Orderian Army is feared, not because it is an army, but because of the combined arms strategies. Nobody on Remnant can outmaneuver a New Orderian unit, nobody can gain air superiority, nobody can conquer the seas, and nobody can hide underground effectively. It is this strategic and numerical advantage that protects the New Orderians, if they lost their grip or the carefully crafted image of power cracked then it would be the collapse of the world order.

The Kistiyan forces moved up the road on their trucks as the NO soldiers prepared for the worst. The tanks attached to the NO infantry units, combined into the RRTF (12th Inf, 53rd Inf, 2nd F-D), rotated their guns towards the road in hopes to either threaten the "rebels" into pacifism or work as a last solution should the encounter go hot.

Uyghur: Attention. You are approaching Demilitarized Zone Gamma, turn back now. The DMZ is enforced by the New Orderian Military, and attempting to violate this order will be seen as an act of aggression.

The convoy of Kistiyan units slows to a halt and a pair of men step out of the lead vehicle, a pickup truck with the Kistiyan emblem on the door. The NO soldiers keep their weapons ready as Uyghur moves forwards to talk with the two men. The first man seems to be an officer of some kind, and the other man seems to be his guard/escort.

Uyghur: I am Captain Uyghur, New Orderian 12th Infantry.

Kistiyan Officer: We're the 5th Brigade of the Kistiyan Independence Force, we're on our way to Patch to reinforce the frontline

Uyghur: I'm sorry, but you aren't allowed to continue.

Kistiyan Officer: We have no problem with your government, nor you. This is a big war, letting one convoy through won't make it any worse. We're fighting for liberty, if anything letting us through is the best option.

Uyghur: I'd like to believe you, but  I have my orders. I cannot let anyone through, especially any military forces.

Kistiyan Officer: I understand, but others won't. At some point you'll be forced to open the route. I just hope you open it for the right side.
