Ten minutes later
Radio conversation between last surviving officer and dispatch:
Officer: we have a biological hazard, these are fuckin zombies! Cancel Fire! Get the fucking Army!
Dispatcher:10-4, protocols 1, 3 and 18 are being initiated
Officer: it's in the fucking air*cough* Fuck!
*gunfire*
Dispatcher: 1-23-45? Officer?
Officer: Shit
*coughing and moaning*
*zombie sounds*
Hazard report: a meteor containg a parasite has landed in an apartment complex in Mount Chills, New Orderlands. The virus enters the esophagus and burrows into the flesh of the neck. This results in the subject bleeding profusely from the mouth. Blood from the subject can't stop flowing. Infected with this strain (SA-2) are considered alpha infected and are prone to exploding. They appear to lay down after a week befor a tree like protrusion grows from the body. This tree then creates yellow sacs containg more of the gas that started the pandemic and what appears to be a fetus made out of the same material as the tree(SA-3). The most common form of infected(SA-1) is a slow moving human who bleeds from the mouth as well. They are essentially SA-2 but don't explode and bleed from the mouth due to the blood carrying the SA-2 blood cells to the lungs releasing the virus into the newly infected's neck. The virus spreads through exchange of fluids. The time it takes for the virus to take over a host from the airborne strain is 30 seconds but in some it is a few minutes. For the contact strain it takes minutes. The bite strain keeps the victim alive and awake through the process but they are numbed into a state close to sleep. This sleep state is rare and only seen in children and the elderly. The virus is very weak when exposed to fire and unlike zombies from movies bullets to the body will kill any infected. The infected is a human who is hyper aggressive however is as easy to kill as the human. They Are incapable of complex brain usage.
TLDR: zombies from meteor gas with starters becoming trees that form a zombie fetus. Basically normal people, are angry and lost all higher brain function.
