Location:  Goalaria, GATE D, with team JN(P)R and RWBY

After finding out about the bomb under Vale the two teams were beginning to notice a trend. NO forces are brutal and will only prioritize their interests. This caused them to want to do an investigation on where New Orderia came from, by purchasing a car and exploring the snow filled wasteland that is Antarctica. They already got vehicle large enough to get them anywhere they need to go, and got the required IDs and permits.

Officer: Papers please.

Yang: We do have firearms but we got the permits to get them through.

Yang gave the CEM officer all the required documents and while he checked that a CEM dog walked around. The dog sat down and they were asked to step out and give the weapons to the CEM officer. After another check by the dog they were given back their weapons and allowed through.

Location: GATE D, Earth side

The car passed through the other checkpoints and they noticed a burned helicopter door panel that said highway patrol on it. When they asked an officer about it he gave a short answer

Officer: Chinese spec ops blew up the checkpoint.

They continued past and decided to connect to the internet using a phone they bought. Immediately they saw the news about a war going on in Asia between NATO and China. The news articles warned of an escalation to another world war while US officials said that was unlikely. A few times on the highway they were slowed by traffic and then the car battery ran low.

Jaune: Is this car electric?

Jaune is clearly an idiot because the sign at the store said that it was.

They saw an off ramp and guessed it would have a place to recharge. They drove for a bit and stopped at a military checkpoint.

Soldier: What are you kids doing out here?

Ruby: We are running out of a charge for the car. Can we recharge here?

Soldier: Based on how low it is now we don't really have an option, follow the military police car, if you don't you will be shot. Do not take photos, or record anything here.

They followed the police car to a maintenance building at the facility. They noticed signs saying Crimson Point but decided that asking might be a bad idea based on the soldier's threats. After getting the car recharged they were escorted out of the base and told don't come back. A military vehicle followed them out and stopped at a snow drift. Soldiers began digging out a sign that said "Restricted Area, NOJOD"

Yang: That could have been bad. I wonder what they do there that is so secretive.

The next hour of the trip was them talking about what Crimson Point did before being stuck in bad traffic. The traffic now was bumper to bumper, every lane, and it continued for a while. While sitting around an ambulance and fire truck passed on the shoulder. They turned on the radio to here that a massive pileup occurred during a blizzard that morning and rescue crews were still arriving to help the injured. Supposedly hundreds of people had already been dug out of the snow and a fire had broken out from an fuel tanker explosion. After another two hours waiting traffic started to move slowly. 

Another hour in traffic passed when the reached the wreck to see the firefighters dug out the snow to redirect the highway past the wrecks. The temporary road was tiny but it was better than waiting for the road to be clear. Some cars were still burning and the entire street was clogged with rescue crews and wrecks. They found a rest stop with a hotel and decided to sleep until sunrise.

Crimson Point Research Base:

Objective: Research of beings from other realities.

Guarded by RCM agents and NO Army soldiers, RCM is the only personnel into the actual facility unless there is a serious issue, the soldiers guard the exterior.

The base has a singular nuclear weapon under it that is activated on protocol 17-A. It has a 1 hour evacuation timer and it is expected to have half of this time be used for getting NO forces out of the facility and sealing the doors. The next 30 is for evacuation of civilians and NO forces from a 30 mile radius.

Any civilians entering must be escorted by MPs and any attempts to record the things there will be punished by execution by firing squad.
