Location: Frozen Wastes, Earth

The wastes are empty, as the name implies it is a desolate wasteland. At least normally, due to the spacial anomaly brought on by NO experiments and the quake it now has countless beings from across reality scattered across it. Those that got stranded in the wasteland were met by a pitch black sky, high winds, snow, and the only light coming from rows of burning buildings on the horizon. The other source of light: the passing emergency vehicles on a nearby highway.

The earthquake was one of the strongest in history, it was felt across the country and it was recorded in the Northern hemisphere by seismographs. Immediately after it struck the New Orderian government put out a call for help from other nations, asking for support with both victims and civil unrest. In response a joint UN task force was deployed and the US Marine Corps was sent in. Their ETA though was going to be long, there was a blizzard hitting and the airports were out of commission so no aircraft could come in. The rivers were blocked by debris making naval deployments almost impossible, the last option was the longest. US and UN forces would need to land in Ardonia before regrouping. This process would take time and afterwards they would need to drive their entire task force to the capital, over one thousand miles south.

No matter which way you cut it, the time the relief units would arrive is days away. Ardonia FD units would arrive before this luckily, the AFD and APD were already sending everything they thought would be needed. Ambulances, fire trucks, SWAT and riot control units, and normal patrol officers. The New Orderian Army also announced a near full recall of combat personnel. The majority of the New Orderian military was set to arrive in the disaster zones soon, most heading for the destroyed capital and neighboring Malask.

A group of people stood in the middle of the wastes, gazing upon the orange glow of the burning cities in the distance. They had never met before, two had equipment from the medieval era, one was a bartender with some tears in his clothing, and the final one looked to be an average teenager. These four were immediately feeling the pain of the blizzard as they stood up and the wind blew. It was clear that they needed to find warmer clothes or a source of heat. One of the two with medieval gear noticed something and called for the others to follow him.

The four reached a few shipping containers with "DCM | CBRNE"written on the sides. The two medieval people wore very different things, one had a full knight getup and the other worse a normal shirt with some armor on the side. The one with less equipment was a female archer, the knight was male. The teenager was also male, the clothing he worse seemed to be from the 90s. Lastly there was the bartender, he looked like a bartender and seemed to be from the early 1900s.

The four were definitely not in a good position, and they did not know what the hell was in the shipping container. Nearby there was other containers, some with the same labels and some with others such as "NOMC DRM," "NO ARMY," and some "NPM CAUTION." Now the NPM one was clearly a threat, nobody even went near it. The vast majority of containers had radiation emblems on them, but said emblems were partially covered by snow. Before opening at containers the group decided to acquaint themselves with one another.

Teenager: I guess I'll go first, the name is Tom. I am guessing you guys have no idea where we are either?

Knight: Hello, my name is Adam, you would be correct about being lost.

Archer: Lilium, me and Adam already know one another.

Bartender: I'm Tony, and I am guessing that some weird shit's happening. Why are you two museum people and why is he dressed weirdly.

Tom: I could say the same to you, who dresses with a vest and tie normally?

Lilium: We have known each other for all of a minute and already there is bickering. How about we get something to stay warm first, then figure out the details later?
