Press Conference

Location: Vacuo capital building

Time: 1030 local time, 1 day after detonation

NO ambassador: I am a representative for New Orderia, I was sent to inform you about the events leading up to the fall of Atlas. A few days ago Atlas forces attempted to execute members of the New Orderian 87th armor, after this was reported an all clear was given to open fire. The 87th defended themselves and forced the Atlas forces to retreat. All of this occurred in Mantle after Atlas abandoned the civilians and we were left to protect them. A few minutes later and Atlas attempted to shoot down a clearly marked medical helicopter but NO ground personnel protected the medical teams.

Reporter: What about the use of nuclear weapons?

NO ambassador: Atlas forces fired on civilian evacuation vessels which caused us to send a military vessel to aid them, we arrived to late and the NO vessel called the Krakatoa was destroyed. Before going down it was ordered to use it's nuclear payload as seen fit. We gave a warning about the coming missile to Atlas which was ignored.

Reporter 2: Do you have any proof?

NO ambassador: The recordings will be released later today pending approval from high command. High command is eager to prove themselves as the morally just so that will be occurring shortly.

Reporter: There was other detonations correct?

NO ambassador: Yes, after all civilians were evacuated to Vacuo an ore quest for Atlas' surrender was given, General Ironwood declined and the use of all nuclear weapons in the 5th and 9th fleets were fired. No attempt at cleanup will be made by NO personnel. Atlas is uninhabitable at this time due to radiation. We will work to get CCTS up again shortly.

Reporter 3: Any information about Menagerie?

NO ambassador: We launched an operation into Menagerie to stop White Fang terrorists who were responsible for the destruction of Vale. Menagerie is now clear of all terror cells and a much more stable nation.

Reporter: What is your business in Vacuo

NO ambassador: Classified, I myself am unaware of all the details at this time. What I can tell you is we are here to stop the Grimm menace. The use of nuclear weapons will be more common on Remnant in the coming months.

Loudspeaker: Alert, Grimm attack in progress

NO ambassador: That is all for today, get to shelter immediately.

The ambassador walked off the stand and ran towards the Capital building with his guards. NO infantry and the 87th armor were deployed by helicopters. They immediately went in a convoy to the reported breach.

Nero: 87th armor to command, we have heavy damage over here, we need reinforcements.

Radio: 10-4, deploying IDTF team Alpha-11 Sentinels.

Alpha 11 is an IDTF team specifically made for brutal combat. Heavy armor, bigger guns, and a tank. This was airlifted in and proceeded to move towards the breach.

Radio: A-11-6, move forward with flamethrowers, burn them back.

Radio: copy.

Someone in EOD gear with a flamethrower ran up and unleashed napalm onto the Grimm. The entire street went up in flames and the machine guns on the tanks opened fire. Fighting continued as more NO troops were airlifted in.

Radio: Warning, 1 FOAB being dropped west of Vacuo.

Loudspeaker: All civilians take shelter, stay away from windows and cover your heads.

A few seconds later the bomb detonated and the blast pushed over tents inside the city despite the fireball not even touching the wall. The ground shook but the Grimm were wiped out.

Radio: All NO personnel begins SAR work. 87th armor, A-11, 34th and 10th infantry, defend the breach from more Grimm.

NO forces across the city aided local firefighters and medical teams in their rescue work. NO naval damage control was deployed to put out the fires and aid in getting the electrical grid fixed.

A/N: This chapter wasn't as long as the other ones but it is better to use my ideas than not upload at all. There might be some filler chapters like this one for a bit. Odds are I will continue the path of the IDTF team on Earth. I hope you enjoyed the story so far but with this being the last kingdom aside from Mistral which was basically the same as it was in the show(yes it isn't here because it occurred at the time of the Menagerie "Uprising" chapter without NO intervention) so after Vacuo this story will have shit that I don't want to spoil happen.
