New Year, New Objectives

Location: NO GATE C's facility, Earth

After the discovery of a human in Charlie 33 NO high command launched a new mission. Study the human and figure out how he isn't dead. The method of study is simple, follow in the shadows, kill those who learn to much, bribe the local authorities. Considering that it is now 2200 and operations on Remnant(R-2) and R-3(where Fractured Dawn takes place) have concluded their is a plethora of available resources. Now many of those troops were sent to fight in the ongoing civil war but many are being given new classified operations. 

Nedeli, formerly a high ranking RCM agent was rapidly promoted after NOID personnel staged a coup. The coup failed miserably but took the lives of over 1 million people from R-3. Nedeli was given the rank of Lower Director in place of Lower Director Delvo, who lead the coup. 

Delvo's coup actually completed an NO objective funny enough. His coup failed and in response he activated an experimental device called a destabilization bomb, used to collapse reality. The bomb was meant to be detonated in an uninhabited universe to see if the existence of GATEs caused Reality 1 to be damaged. When Delvo activated the bomb and reality didn't collapse within hours NO forces got their answer, everything was fine. In fact all problems were linked to errors in Charlie 33 requests. 

It did however unleash a virus similar to SA, except much harder to kill the victims of. SA hosts are relatively weak without the virus causing mutations, the DB virus as NO forces named it(after the name of the bomb that caused it, Daybreak) made the infected unkillable. To kill a DB carrier the brain must be destroyed, anything short of that won't do anything. Another difference is transmission, SA through fluid exchange, DB through bites and deep scratches. The biggest problem caused by the coup was NO forces had to stop the DB virus, and with repeated nuclear strikes on one city they did it. 

Now back to the new objectives: the 1st Shock Corp was assigned to the frozen wastes for CT operations along with the 3rd Army. This wasn't very glamorous because it is effectively walking across Antarctica looking for insurgents and killing whoever you find. Despite this progress was made and insurgent leaders were being killed every week.

10 infantry companies formerly assigned to Remnant were sent to Charlie 33 for defending new installations. These installations would be secret and anyone approaching would be sedated, tested, have their minds wiped, and returned. Once again: not pretty work but it needs to be done to understand that universe. Many other units were deployed on similar operations: defend X, in reality Y, while we study Z. 

Now considering R-C-33 is filled with demons and other eldritch horrors a counter was needed. This counter would be developed by the masterminds behind the thing that kept R-3 soldiers alive, 212. 212 is a bio weapon, used to neutralize the otherwise indomitable powers of the R-3 populous. 212 is also harmless to people from R-1's iteration of Earth, NO high command wishes to replicate it for C-33 use. Now an exact copy of 212 would be a bad idea, it suppresses a part of the DNA in R-3 humanoids for two days, only R-3 humanoids. 

Who was assigned to making 212? Doctor E Alcos, a maniac. Alcos is a mute who has no sense of morals, in fact he enjoys torturing people. A brief list of Alcos' crimes against humanity are: Human experimentation, execution, torture, more experimentation, fire against civilians, producing and testing chemical weapons on civilians and inmates, cruelty to POWs, and that is only the things he does to humans. He has committed even more attractors targeted at non humans discovered in other dimensions. 

The next horrifying thing about Alcos is who he knows. He managed to be one of 11 to befriend the leader of New Orderia, because of that his budget is endless. If he wants something and it isn't against what the government wants he can probably get it. He needed to test how guns work on a species discovered in another universe and he got a specially trained soldier normally used for ceremonies to execute someone. One final thing to put in perspective: in R-3 he would rather infect the enemies of New Orderia with SA than make BW212, just because it was more fun.

So because this story is effectively over(I will still upload stuff about Earth) and Fractured Dawn ended with a bang or 30 I need a new one. This can go one of two ways, the first is I go batshit crazy and make one about Charlie 33(yes it would be a fanfic). The other way is whoever comments a TV show, movie, anime, or fucking whatever I will watch it and if I can give NO forces a reason to be there then boom, we have a new story.
