Secret Love- Part 4

You beamed as Niall slid a plate of bacon and eggs across the table to you. “Look at you!” You teased, “Making eggs and bacon like a pro.”

He wiggled his eyebrows at you and pointed at you with a spatula, saying, “Only the best for my love.” You grinned and stabbed some egg with a fork while Niall danced his way to the sink, where he dropped all of the dishes he used. “I’m gonna jump in the shower while you eat. We need to leave pretty soon.”

You chewed on the egg and said, “You have to eat, too, Niall. Here, have a piece of bacon.” You offered your plate to him, but he shook his head in response. He tugged his shirt over his head and balled it up in his hands while walking toward the bathroom.

“Don’t worry about me,” He said over his shoulder, “I’ll eat later. I’m not really hungry right now, anyway. Holler if you need me, okay?”

You nodded, even though he couldn’t see you as he walked with his back facing you. You watched him until he turned into the bathroom and peeked his head out, sending you a wink, before he finally shut the door behind him. You giggled and continued to eat as you heard the shower turn on.

When you stood to place your empty plate in the sink, you heard Niall’s voice belting out lyrics from the bathroom. With a smile, you listened to him sing while he scrubbed his hair. You were already dressed and ready to go, so you weren’t sure what to do to busy yourself. You fell onto Niall’s couch and sat with your legs stretched out. Niall’s singing voice was enough entertainment for you until you heard his phone beep. It lit up from the coffee table in front of you and you curiously glanced at the screen to see that he had a new message from Louis. You resisted the temptation and decided to ignore it, relaxing back in the couch until you heard it beep again. And again.

The shower was still running and Niall was still singing as you reached for his phone and unlocked it with ease, surprised to see that the background on his lock screen was a picture he took with you a few days ago. His phone beeped twice more in your hand and you opened his messages to see five new ones from Louis. Your eyebrows furrowed as you read them.

The very first one he sent said, ‘Are you bringing (Y/N) to the interview today?’

The second, ‘Of course you are, who am I kidding?’

‘I know you like her. You loooove her, don’t you? Maybe she shouldn’t stay with you, after all. What have you two been up to lately, hm?? ;)’

‘You better get (Y/N) before someone else does. You know what I mean.’

‘Are you ignoring me on purpose?’

Your eyes widened as Niall’s phone beeped again and another message popped up in front of you. It said, ‘Make sure you bring (Y/N) with you today, especially because Zayn is leaving tonight to go home and he won’t be able to see her for a while after that. So share her for the day, yeah? Remember, she’s here visiting all of us, not just you, Niall.’ But that one was from Harry. When you pressed the home button to close out of his messages, you found that the background on his home screen was also a picture of you and him. This sparked more curiosity in you, and before you knew it, you were scrolling through his twitter. You bit your lip as you looked through the tweets he’d sent out in the past week. You were all over his twitter! He was indirectly tweeting about you, saying things like, ‘I can stay home all day because I have everything I need right here with me :)’ and ‘Don’t think I could be any happier !!’ Then there were pictures he’d tweeted of you, more than you even knew about. There was even a picture of you while you were sleeping with a caption that read, ‘Bed time!’ He had mentioned keeping quiet about your relationship, yet he was making it obvious with all of his pictures and tweets. You felt confused and a little uncomfortable at the same time.
