Yea

"You know I'm gonna fall..." You said as your friend guided you onto the ice skating rink.

"Just give it a try! For me!" She whined.

"Fine, just this once. But, if I fall and break a leg or something, you're paying my medical bills," You threatened jokingly.

"Alright, alright. Whatever you say," She said, pulling you onto the ice.

You let her drag you all the way to the edge of the rink, your legs shaking the whole way. You watched as your friend showed you a couple simple techniques, but you were still scared out of your mind. After a couple tries, you were beginning to feel more comfortable on the skates, though you were still a little shaky.

"(Y/F/N)? Uh...where are you?" You began to panic as you looked around you, and you couldn't find her. She was just right beside you, where the heck did she go?

You sighed and tried to make your way off of the rink to go look for her. You were almost there when suddenly you felt yourself slipping. You frantically searched for something to grab a hold on, but found yourself falling flat onto your face. Or so you thought, until you looked up to see two eyes staring down at you.

"You okay?" You heard a voice say from above you.

You gathered yourself and cleared your throat. "I'm...uh...yea."

You finally got to your feet, with help from the stranger. He smiled at you, and you smiled in return. "Thanks for...um...catching me," You mumbled.

He chuckled. "Of course! You a new skater?" He asked, and you noticed how his eyes sparkle.

"Yea..." You blushed. You probably looked really stupid right now.

"That's alright. To be honest, I'm not that great myself," He extended a hand to you. "Niall."

"(Y/N)," You shook his hand, praying that you wouldn't fall on your face again.

"I can...show you around if you'd like," He said. 

"Sure!" You beamed, completely forgetting about the friend you came with. Oh well, she shouldn't have ditched you in the first place.

"Great! Come with me," Niall grabbed your hand again, ensuring you that you wouldn't fall. You followed him around, enjoying every minute of it.
