“Niall!” You demanded, holding a necklace up to your neck. “You’re not looking!”

“Sorry, sorry,” He said, tearing his attention away from the television. “You look great, princess.”

“You already said that,” You told him, flatly. “I was asking you; which necklace?” You switched to a different necklace, holding it up. “That one…or this one?”

He shrugged. “They’re both fine, love,” He said, looking around you and cheering when his team scored. He was watching another game.

You sighed in frustration. “I’m asking you because I can’t make a decision myself- please just pick one!”

“Fine, the first one was pretty,” He said, glancing between you and the TV.

“YES!” He cheered, jumping up with his arms in the air as his team scored the winning point.

“Well thank goodness that’s over,” You grumbled as you put the necklace on, slipping in a pair of your flats; you were in no mood for heels.

“Okay, you ready?” He asked, stepping up behind you and giving you a hug from behind. He rested his chin on your shoulder.

“Yes,” You let out a breath, checking over yourself in the mirror one more time.

“You’re sure this dress doesn’t make me look bad?” You asked, a bit worried as you looked at yourself again.

“Honey,” He started, pressing sweet kisses to your neck. “You look lovely, trust me.”

“I’m trusting you,” You smiled, quickly pecking his lips and heading off to grab your clutch.

While you were gone, Niall glanced down at his outfit, raising his eyebrows while you returned. “Um, sweetheart…”

“What?” You quickly responded, worrying that something was wrong.

“I look okay, right?”

You giggled, lightly hitting his chest. “You look very charming,” You smiled at him.

“No, seriously, Hailey,” He said, brushing his hands along his shirt. “This isn’t wrinkly, is it?”

“Niall,” You stopped him. “You look completely fine, babe.”
