*A few minutes later Kenma snuggles in Kuroo's bed and Kuroo hugs him*

*Kenma's stomach growls*
Kuroo: Kitten, did you not eat again?
Kenma: Going downstairs to grab food and getting screamed at for being a 'good for nothing faggot' by my drunk mother just isn't worth all the energy.
Kuroo: I'm sorry, love. What do you want to eat?
Kenma: Is apple-pie ok?
Kuroo: You can have that as dessert, but you need to eat something real first.
Kenma: Oh. Can I have some soup?

Kuroo: No problem love. Now, for the pie... I think my mom made some yesterday...
*Kenma, excited*: Really?
*Kuroo, chuckling*: Why are you excited?
*Kenma, with his eyes shining*: Ms. Kuroo's apple-pies are the best! (Kuroo's parents are canonically divorced)
*Ms. Kuroo, with a baseball bat in her hand, sneaking up on them*: Oh. Glad you like it, hun.
Kuroo: Mom?! What are you doing with that?!
*Kenma, under his breath*: Sangwoo 2.0
*Kuroo, giggling*: Kitten, not the time.
Ms. Kuroo: Kenma, the last time I dyed my hair blonde is in my 20's!
*Ms. Kuroo, with her eyes darting to the bat*: Oh. I see what you mean.
*Kenma, frozen in fear*: H-how did you-
Kuroo: Mom- why- I-I mean- how-
Ms. Kuroo: Come on, manwhas are fun. Anyways, I thought you guys were burglars.
*Kuroo, still a bit shocked*: Yeah... Um... Kenma's parents were... Um... Arguing... And he hadn't eaten, so... Uh... He ate some soup and... Was about to have some apple-pie.
Ms. Kuroo: Oh boy. That sentence took half of my lifetime. Anyways, I'm glad you like my pie, Kenma. If that's all, boys, I'm going back to bed. You don't have school tomorrow and the walls are soundproof. Have fun.
