Yu Yue went to the green jade lake's lakeside pool, she let Little White and Little Black played in the pool, happily splashing water and swimming around.
Little Xi Wang watched with a smile on the side, while Yu Yue was drinking tea and talking to Xing Yi and Xing Er.
While waiting for Yu Ling and others Yu Yue asked Xing Yi a lot of questions. "what's up with your reactions earlier?" she eyed the two while drinking tea.
"those who know the power of faith are only people who came from the higher realm miss, I was just a little cautious about why would such a person appears here" he replied in a heavy voice.
"you're from the higher realm?" she asked without any surprise eyeing the two of them. She already guessed it.
"yes miss, we've been following lady Chang Lu since young. Xing Yi and I are siblings, lady Chang Lu then raised us because our parents were attacked by demonic beasts. They died protecting us so lady Chang Lu brought us on her way while escaping that place to the middle realm and we then followed captain Xing He as shadow guards" xing er added, as always expressionless.
"how much do you know about sage valley?" she asked after pondering over it.
"not much, we only heard of them from lady Chang Lu, but based on her words they are a righteous and peace-loving sect" Xing Yi replied doubtfully.
"then tell me anything about my mother's background. You guys still haven't told me anything useful about it. I'm not doubting your loyalty but you two should be clear that you're currently serving me. If you don't feel like saying anything, then I won't hesitate to send you two back" she threatened with a penetrating gaze.
She's already tired of the family secrets. She knows they're doing it for her own good but she wants to know their exact situation so she could prepare in advance, not only knowing if it's already too late.
Xing Yi and Xing Er trembled. "miss--. Mistress told us not to make you worry about it" xing er said in a dilemma. They wanted to tell her but they don't want to defy their master.
"I would be worried if you all won't tell me, enough just tell me already. If my mother chases you away, then I'll keep you" she told them with coercion. "you should all be able to tell what's the priority right? I'm sure uncle Xing He didn't raise you two like a mindless puppet, some orders aren't always meant to be followed you should use your judgment to ascertain the situation first" she snapped.
"even if you won't tell me I'm already worried knowing something's going on, you should just say it now that I still have the patience" she glared at them coldly as she thundered seeing how they still hesitated.
She must have been too lenient with them lately; they should have a taste of her temper. She rarely gets angry but this time is different, it involves the safety of her entire family.
The entire lakeside quietened. Little xi wang paused as he narrowed his eyes at the two shadow guards coldly after he calmed his older sister down. He too wants to know their exact situation, sadly his strength is not even a fart comparable to before.
They immediately feel the temperature turns cold and ominous.
The two immediately kneeled down to beg for mercy while shivering with fright and they told her what she exactly wants to know.
Yu Yue listened quietly not allowing them to stand up, she decided to punish them today to learn their lessons.
"so my mother is a disciple of five fairy islands and she's the young lady of one of the islands. However, it's already annihilated." Yu Yue muttered. "what else?" she presses for more.
"she was then hunted down by two different groups of people suddenly for reasons we don't know" xing er added with bowed head.
