While we munch on the appetizers, we talked a lot about what we do. He has mentioned a few of his big clients, but I haven't heard any of them, honestly. Maybe we really are in a different circle. It's a good thing though, my dad won't cross his path anytime soon.

"So you own that twin tower across Gangnam road? Damn! The suites there are twice as big as the regular ones, right?!" Taehyung said. He knows a lot about our property developments. I guess he is into these kinds of investments too.

"Yes, that's right. Have you been in there? If you're interested in seeing the units, I can show you one myself. Have you gotten an investment of this type? I mean, as a hot bachelor, you shouldn't be missing on one."

"Nahh, I'd rather have you take me to your own unit, whatcha say?" I cleared my throat and drank from my glass of water.

Then I chuckled at him, "You are very straightforward, aren't you?? I didn't get that from chatting with you yesterday."

"Chat and in person are really very different from each other, Jin. I actually prefer more actions than words."

"Right. Uhm- that can be a good thing sometimes." I forced a smile, then let out a sigh of relief when the door opened. Our conversation is getting a bit out of hand. So I'm thankful that Chanyeol already came in to serve our main course.

Maybe our start has just been off because of the 'flirting with the waiter' thing. So I hope he likes the steak. It might twist his mood better.

"Shittt! This meat isn't cooked yet! Look!! That's it! I think this waiter is getting back at me!!"

My eyes widen when he got up but I quickly pulled his arm, "Wait, Taehyung. No, I had asked them to cook the steak in medium rare. Look, mine is like that too. Don't worry, we can get yours to be cooked to well done. Let me just call in the waiter. I'm sorry, I should've asked you for your preference."

His face softened as I finished explaining. Seriously, is this his first time to have a steak?! I am truly doubting this man's identity right now! There's no way he didn't know about this thing.

"Oh okay. Well, sorry Jin, I didn't mean to lash out like that. I thought that ass was getting back at me by ruining my food. I'm just used to meat that's cooked thoroughly."

Taehyung sat back down and sighed, then he spoke again, "Do you really eat it like that?!"

"Yes, I find the meat juicier and more tender when it's like only half done. Here, just give it a try before you judge it."

I cut a small piece of my meat, took it with a fork and fed it to him. I kinda felt shy at first feeding him from my own fork, but he didn't seem to be flustered at all. Maybe he gets that a lot.

He chewed on the piece of steak and thought for a while. Then he smiled, which made me smile too.

"Wow! That's surprisingly good!"

"Right? You liked it? Or you still want to have yours cooked to well done?"

"Nahh, it's fine. It would only bring that Chankul back here. I can eat this as is."

"Okay, great. Then it is best paired with this wine. Before you sip, twirl the glass and inhale on the wine a bit to get its tart smell all throughout your senses. So when you sip on the wine, the taste stays with you and gives your palette a more stimulating feeling. Which will compliment the steak."

He stares at me as he held onto his glass of wine. His gaze is really piercing thru me, it made me feel nervous. Oh gosh, did I say too much?? It may seem to him that I'm a know-it-all!

But suddenly, a smile formed in his lips. He actually looks so cute with his boxy smile. His aura changes from intimidating to adorable whenever he smiles.

"Thanks for sharing that, Jin. It may already hit you that I'm such a dumb ass, not knowing these kinds of shits. But you still carefully explain to me everything in detail. You didn't make me feel like an idiot at all. If it was some other chaebol sons, they may already have shoved it to my face that I know nothing. But you are very kind, you know.."

"Oh! Well, I-- uhm, I didn't realize I was doing that. But well, I'm glad you put it that way. You see, Tae, I just want this night to turn out fine. It's my first time doing this blind date stuff. So I am still clueless and nervous as to how it'll go..

You may not be the exact person I envisioned you to be, but I am willing to know more about you. If that's what you feel as well. But I do get a feeling that you are after something else. Am I right?" I bit my lips anticipating for his answer.

"Honestly, I do want a fuck and nothing more. That's why I go out on dates. Are you really looking for something serious?"

I knew it! I was wrong about him. He's really different from yesterday, I assumed he can be someone serious. But the way he talks to me right now, it says otherwise.

I sighed deep and smiled at him, "Thanks for being honest. I like how straightforward you've been right from the start. As for me, yes, I wanted to have something serious. Not just a fuck. So I'll be honest too, I can't give you that tonight."

"Aww man!! Really?" He whined at what I said. We stared at each other for a while, then we laughed at the same time.

"Nahh, we're cool. I am having a good time talking with you, Jin. Honestly, this isn't my thing, you know, conversation over dinner, and this get to know each other shit. But it's not so bad. I think it's coz you are really interesting. And since we're being honest here already, I'll break it to you now - it wasn't me who you were chatting with. It's my younger brother. He's in college, and I think he's already trying to get rid of me by pushing me to go on a serious date and settle down."

My eyes widen at what he said, then I chuckled a bit, "Oh my, really?? So I was chatting with a college student?! But he seems so smart and mature! Wow. Is he really your brother?? No offense, but well, you know what I mean."

He rolled his eyes at me which made me smile. "Yeah, he's my brother. And that's true, he's very intelligent. I'm lucky to have him. I'm just waiting for him to graduate, then my purpose in life is done."

I stared at him for a while - that's quite nice. It looks like he really cares for his brother. I think there is more to Taehyung, I'm a bit curious to see his different sides. But, if he said he's not into any kind of relationship, then I should stop here.

*******

Finally, our date is over. It went on smoothly after we became honest with each other. We talked about more simple things then, like what he likes to eat, the things he likes to do with his brother. I also got a chance to tell him about my divorce and that I am just starting to come out with regards to my sexuality.

But I'm guessing there won't be a second date for us. He was clear that he's not looking for something serious, and in contrary, I'm not up for one-night stands either.

He's already walking me to my car at the parking lot, when he started to speak, "Are you sure you're not down for anything tonight, Jin? I can at least help you relax, also I'd like to pay back this dinner by making you feel good." He smirked at me, and I just rolled my eyes.

"No Taehyung, thanks but no thanks! You don't have to pay me back by making me feel good! How can that be paying back when you're the one to benefit from it?"

He laughed at me, but when we got to my car, he stepped closer to me and made me face him, my back leaned at my car door.

"Okay then, how about just a good night kiss, hmm??"
