Jin took a moment before he climbs up the stage and took the podium to deliver his speech. He was still a bit worried at how Taehyung looked at him. Knowing that he's also currently in a job, Jin can't help but think that something is going wrong with his boyfriend, Yoongi or Jungkook.

But he shrugged off the feeling as he's already been called to the stage.

After giving his insights about the company's achievements for the year and recognition of their loyal shareholders, he then said that the press is given the chance to ask him questions.

That's when everyone got all excited, wanting to be first to ask him questions. Camera lights just won't stop flashing at Jin, but the latter didn't seem to be bothered by them.

'Is it true that you are going thru a divorce with your wife, who's the daughter of one of your major shareholders and board member? How did your parents take it?'

"Yes, our lawyers are already handling it. Our parents have been supportive of our decisions from the beginning. No one is at fault, it's just that we have too many differences that we chose to sort apart from each other. Please respect our privacy over these matters. Thank you. Next question please." Jin answered calmly.

Jungkook spoke over their earpieces, "Damn, Mr. Formal can totally handle shits professionally!"

"Yeah, he is really witty. So Tae, you should know by now that he's too wise to not realize that you two are so different from each other, but still can be together. It's just the same with me and Hobi, or Kook and Jimin. Don't think too much." Yoongi whispered while filming the surrounding audience.

Taehyung stayed silent as he watches Jin. He heard what Yoongi said, but chose to keep quiet.

'Is the reason behind your divorce includes an issue of your sexuality, Mr. Kim? There has been rumors of you being gay and prefers men more than women.'

Jin was ready to answer quickly, but he was cut off by Ken who stepped forward in front of the audience, "Don't you think that's such a disrespectful question?! Bringing rumors into this event is very unnecessary."

"Mr. Lee Ken, that's quite alright. I had nothing to hide, hence, I'm ready to respond to that question." Jin said. His dad even stood to eye the situation, keen at how Jin will handle it.

Ken turned to look at Jin, he said, "But Jinnie--"

The crowd even got more interested at what's happening, therefore they grabbed it as opportunity to ask more gossips from Jin.

'Mr. Lee Ken, you just got back from the US, right? But you used to be very close to Mr. Kim before, you even went to the same college? May we know the reason why you're suddenly back and what's your relationship with the CEO?'

Jin sighed at the buzzing reporters, unsure how to make them back off now. Soobin noticed that his boss is getting annoyed, so he tried to take the mic from the emcee, stood next to Jin and said,

"Excuse me, may I please ask everyone to settle down. This should be about the CEO and the company's anniversary. Therefore, may everybody please take your seats first? Mr. Kim will resume answering your questions as soon as order has been observed. Questions are preferably about the event, not personal ones. Thank you."

Jin smiled at Soobin, thankful for the younger's initiative. He even tapped his shoulder which made Soobin blush. This did not escape Ken's eyes, it made his forehead crease, giving him more questions in mind.

While the crowd quiet down a bit, one of the reporters shouted,

'Hey young Sir, you're the new Executive Assistant, right? Would you happen to be the new apple of the eye of the CEO too?!'

"What-" Soobin's eyes went wide then he looked at Jin. The older quickly said, "No, he's not. He's only my assis--"

"Oh shit-- no way, Jinnie! Is he the one you're currently dating?!" Ken stood up again, his eyebrows furrowed in too much frustration.

The reporters went wild at what they heard, they came rushing nearer in front to take more pictures of Jin and Soobin.

'He's the new boyfriend of the CEO! No wonder why he's so pretty!'

'Sir, when did you start dating?!'

'Mr. Kim, did your father approve of him?!'

'From which family did you come from? Are you a major shareholder too?'

The security team was able to control the crowd and made them all settle down. Jin just sighed from where he stood. When he turned to look at Ken, he's been talking to his father already, trying to keep him seated.

Jin's dad remained calm, as if enjoying all the commotion that's happening. When Jin saw this, he knew something is going on in his dad's mind.

He then turned to Soobin who looked flustered at everything, he said, "Just stand behind me. Don't say anything anymore." Soobin nodded and stepped back to hide behind Jin.

Jin cleared his throat first before he started to speak,

"I am aware that you are all curious at who's going to be my partner once again that will lead KSJ Property Holdings alongside me. For now, I'm asking you to give me privacy as I have just started seeing this person. Rest assured that he will be a great man, a great support for me in bringing out the best interest of our company..

As you all know, the Chairman, my father, would always oversee my actions and make sure that KSJ Property Holdings will only have the best among the bests. So please, leave this to me for now, will you?" Jin winked at the reporters which made everyone laugh. Then he continued,

"Now if you'll allow me, let's enjoy the rest of the party with our family and friends. Thank you again for coming and may you all have a good night."

The crowd stood up and gave Jin a round of applause. But cameras are still clicking nonstop as they noticed Jin, being the gentleman himself, helped Soobin climb down the stage. It only raised their speculations that the EA is indeed the CEO's boyfriend.

Taehyung took his earpiece off as he made his way to the backroom. Yoongi saw this, he only stared at Hobi who nodded at him. So he followed Taehyung, turning off his earpiece too.

"Tae, are you okay?!" Yoongi said softly as he locked the door behind him.

Taehyung is already changing his waiter uniform into his casual wear, then he spoke in his serious, deep tone, "I'm fine, hyung. Let's wrap up things here. I think we've gathered enough footage from the Lee family. Just tell Kook to continue recording the bug on Lee Ken."

"Okay. Hey, I think Jin handled it well, right? Don't worry, it's only a matter of time that he'll tell everyone about you." Yoongi said.

"I told him not to do so yet. He actually asked me before if he could already introduce me to his parents tonight. I'm glad he didn't. Coz you just saw everyone out there. It would've been a disaster if everybody knew about me and Jin. I'm a nobody, hyung. I could've dragged him to shame if he told them about me." Taehyung said softly.

"Where the fuck did your confidence go, Tae?! You're the one who always said that you'll make Jin happy." Yoongi hissed at him.

"I know what I said, hyung. And I intend to keep that promise. I just hope he'll stay happy. Things are just about to start for him. You saw what happened out there - for how long will he need to face those kinds of attacks?! Not to mention we don't know yet what his father has to say about all this. He can take everything away from Jin in a snap." Taehyung said, already teary-eyed, but trying his best to hold his tears from falling as he didn't want to cry in front of Yoongi.

"Now tell me, hyung, you think Jin will be happy with me?!"
