45. Rescue You

Jin and Soobin are seated on the floor, blindfolded and their hands tied at their backs. They could only hear several machineries, as if lifting something made of steel and tossing it somewhere around them.

Jin has been silent the whole time, trying to sense things around them. Though feeling nervous, he's hopeful that Taehyung will be there to come and get them, as he promised earlier. He is also trying to listen intently at the men chattering around them, who seem to be talking to their boss over the phone.

"Boss, here they are." Says a man thru his earphones, focusing his phone camera on Jin and Soobin over a video call.

"FUCK!!! You idiots!! Why is Seokjin there!?? I told you to get only his executive assistant!!! Are you fucking using your peanut brain?!!" Ken shouted on the other line.

"B-boss.. s-sorry!! He was the one driving the car so we took him too. So- it's only the kid in the blue dress shirt that we need to get rid of?"

"Yeah. And send Jin safely to somewhere safer where he can go back home. Fuck y'all!! You are all so dumb!! Make sure you won't leave any traces and that Jin isn't hurt!!"

"Y-yes boss.." The man has ended the call and hurriedly headed outside.

When Jin heard that a large steel door has shut, he whispered, "Soobin, are you okay?! I think they all went outside." Jin tried to move and find where Soobin is seated. When he heard him sobbing, he scoots closer to the younger. "Soobin??"

"S-sir Jin.. I-- I kind of heard it. They're only after me. I was the one they needed to e-eliminate. W-what did I even do?! I'm not rich, and I don't have enemies. Sir, I-- I don't want to die.." Soobin whispered while sobbing. He was sure the men wanted him killed as he's the one who's wearing the blue dress shirt.

"No. No. I won't let that happen while I'm here, Soobin. We just have to think of a way how to get out of here. And I'm sure Tae is on their way to get us. I trust him, he promised he'll be here." Jin said.

"Who is T-tae? Is he Namjoon's brother? Y-your boyfriend??"

"Yes. He's the father of this child in my womb. He's the love of my life. My hero, my fortress. He's the one who can make me smile, laugh and cry at the same time, the only man who's in my dreams at night even when he's sleeping just beside me. He-- uhm, okay that's enough. Sorry, I got carried away. But yeah, he's my boyfriend."

"Uhm, okay. Thanks for the full description, Sir. But wait-- did you say you're pregnant??"

"Yes, I am. So we have to get thru this, Soobin. Come closer, turn around and I'll try to untie your hands." Jin said, then Soobin did as instructed. But Jin was having a hard time untangling the ropes as they're too tight.

"Sir, let me try. I have longer nails." Soobin said. In a few seconds, Jin felt that the ropes around his wrists are loosening. So then he was able to remove his hands free.

"Okay. You got it, Soobin. Wait." Jin removed his blindfold, he blinked a few times to adjust his blurry sight to the surrounding. He now realized that they are in the middle of what looks like an abandoned warehouse.

Jin quickly removed Soobin's blindfold too, and proceeded on untying his hands. While Jin does this, he looks around to make sure there are no other men inside.

"Shit!" Jin muttered, as he saw two buff, tattooed men with guns on the far left corner, busy making out and touching each other's dicks. "Eww! I feel like I'm gonna sick!" He said, almost gagging.

"Why-" Soobin was about to turn to look at what it was but Jin stopped him and pulled him already to run. "C'mon, just duck down and hurry."

The two discreetly ran into the back, Jin looked up at the only window that he can see, but it's too high for them to climb. Soobin then pointed to Jin two wooden crates not too far, that they can use to step on.

They pulled them silently and stacked them up together, Soobin then said, "I'll go first, Sir. We don't know what's on the other side, it's dangerous for you to jump high as you're pregnant. So I should be there first to catch you."

Jin nodded, so Soobin silently climbed up the window. They both screamed when series of gunshots were fired from the front of the steel door, men shouting and running about are all easily heard inside the quiet warehouse.

"Ahh!! Oh my, hurry! Let's go!!" Jin shouted.

The two buff men realized that the abducted victims were not in the middle of the huge room anymore. They looked around and spotted that Jin is climbing the window already. "There!!" One of them fired towards Jin's direction but groaned loud as he saw that the latter has already jumped down.

The two men ran into the backdoor, they had a hard time opening it as it was braced with a heavy wood.

Outside, at the back of the warehouse, Jin jumped at Soobin's arms, both of them fell to the dusty ground. They tried to adjust to the bright sunlight as they came from a much darker warehouse inside.

Then Jin pulled Soobin up, "Thanks, Soobin! Sorry if I was too heavy."

They both hurried into the nearest metal crates as they heard the backdoor of the warehouse was being forced open.

As they reached the metal container, they sat down and leaned their backs on it, covering their ears as they hear gunshots towards their direction. Jin's eyes widen when he saw several motorbikes are approaching them.

"Oh gosh, is that-- Yoongi!!!! Here!! We're here!!!" Jin stood up and shouted as soon as he recognized that it was Yoongi on one of the motorcycles.

Yoongi shouted back, "Get down Jin!!!" Jin threw his body down the ground when he saw Yoongi pulling out a gun towards him. He heard several shots and kept his eyes closed until he heard the motorbikes coming to a stop.

Soobin ran to Jin to help him up, when they both turned to look, they saw the two buff men from earlier already on their face down the ground, drenched in red blood. Soobin gasped and he quickly hugged Jin, closing his eyes and not wanting to see the dead bodies further.

Jin turned around and breathes in deeply to calm his nerves, then he heard Yoongi calling out to him. "Jin! Are you okay? Are you both hurt??"

"No, we're good. Where's Tae?!"

"He's still inside with Jungkook. We thought you're there. Wait." Yoongi held onto his earpiece and shouted, "Tae!! I already found Jin and Soobin. We're at the back. Get out of there now!"

Inside the warehouse, Taehyung along with Jungkook and their other men were being chased by more of Ken's followers. Thinking that Jin and Soobin were inside, they forced their way into the warehouse, driving more enemies after them.

"Are my babies okay?!" Taehyung shouted back thru his earpiece, but he's crawling his way from one crate to another, trying to hide from gunshots firing at them. "Fuck!! It'll be difficult to get past these crazy goons to head back outside! They're too many Yoongs! We're outnumbered!! Any other exit??"

"Jin and your baby is fine. Now you just have to get outta there!" Yoongi said, then he turned to Jin, "How did you escape?"

"There's an exit at the back." Jin said worriedly.

"Tae, take the backdoor!! Try to get to the back. We're coming in to cover for you!!" Yoongi shouted and motioned for his companions to follow him. But before they rode, he said to Jin, "Stay right here. Don't go anywhere. Just stay hidden, okay? We're getting Tae and Jungkook."

Jin nodded and said, teary-eyed, "Please get Tae, take him out safely, please."
