54. Rules and Kisses

Jin is fidgeting with his fingers while waiting for the elevator to open to his penthouse. As soon as it opened, he stepped out quickly and pressed the buzzer to his front door.

Jin pressed his lips, anticipating for Taehyung to answer the door for him. He's nervous as hell, knowing what he did coming from Ken's condo unit.

When the door opened before him, he was surprised to see Taehyung, with swollen eyes and red nose.

He then quickly closed his eyes as Taehyung sprayed something on his face, neck, down to his body and both of his arms.

"T-tae! What are you doing-- what's this?!" Jin asked, confused, while he wipes his mouth.

"That's 140% Isopropyl Alcohol!! You have to disinfect your mouth and body after making out with that douchebag and letting him touch you just anywhere!! And here.." Taehyung tossed a mouthwash to Jin, which the latter caught with both hands. "Gargle for thirty minutes before speaking to me!!"

Then Taehyung turned around and walked to the living room. He took his glass of whiskey and downed it in one go.

Jin sighed and followed him inside, locking the door behind him. He then said, "Seriously, Tae?! What is a 140% isopropyl alcohol??" He stood before Taehyung, eyeing the amount of whiskey he just drank from the bottle.

But Taehyung just leaned his back on the sofa and stared back at him. Jin took a deep breath and continued to speak, "We've discussed this. I said I didn't like the idea, but you seconded your boss' plans! You said it's part of the 'job' so you'll be fine with it. You think it was easy for me to kiss him when all I can hear in my earpiece were your cries and loud weeping?!"

Taehyung started to get teary-eyed again, he licked his lips and tried to compose himself before he looked up again to Jin, standing in front of him with the mouthwash in his hand. "I didn't expect I'd feel that way okay?!!-- just by hearing y-you moan f-for someone e-else.. I-- I felt like the whole w-world was crashing down on me!!"

Jin bit his bottom lip to control the smile forming in his lips, but Taehyung glared at him and stood up.

"What's so funny?! You are laughing at my m-misery, Seokjin!! How could you?!!" Taehyung exclaimed.

"Okay. Okay, I'm sorry. But I wasn't laughing- I just can't help but smile. As I find that so sweet. I'm really sorry, Tae. I'm glad you did not see it in person. Coz you're already like this when you just heard it thru the earpiece - what more if you watched it on camera."

Jin sighed and walked to Taehyung, placing the mouthwash at the table. He then embraced the younger's neck and tiptoed to kiss Taehyung's forehead.

"Don't cry now, hmm? I can never do that for real. Not with Ken, not with anyone. I love you. And you know that you can always trust me. Coz that won't change ever - now until forever. I love you." Jin smiled as he caressed Taehyung's face with his thumb.

"I do trust you. It just hurt too much, I couldn't help but feel self-pity. I didn't think I could actually feel this way. I guess I really do love you so much, baby."

Jin leaned closer to capture Taehyung's lips, but the latter quickly covered his mouth. "Uh-uh.. no! Seriously, you have to gargle with the mouthwash first!"

Jin rolled his eyes and sighed. "Fine. I'll just shower and change. Please enough with the drinking, Tae. You are getting rough when you are drunk." He then walked to the center table and took the mouthwash. But he came to a stop when Taehyung spoke,

"I would definitely not go easy on you, baby. You are to be punished because of those kisses!"

Jin turned around to look at Taehyung, "What?! That is unfair! You're the one who suggested that kissing would make Ken believe my act more! Why would I get punished for it?!"
