68. Epilogue

Five years later.

Taehyung stepped on the gas on his car, aggressively honking his horn as he overtakes several vehicles while he swerves left and right anxiously.

He pressed on his earpods, and spoke calmly, "Which way to turn, Kook?"

Taehyung focused his eyes on the road, though feeling nervous, he tried his best to stay calm so he can function more efficiently.

"Chen said the next road to the right will take 3 minutes. But it's risky as it's a one-way street. You'll have to go against the traffic. Next option is two streets from there, it will take you uhm- about eight minutes."

Jungkook quickly answered while looking at Chen's laptop who's hacking through the Intelligent Traffic System again, to see the best route for Taehyung to take.

Taehyung inhaled deep, but he made a hard turn to the right to take the road with the shorter time. But Jungkook was right - it was a challenge as several vehicles are coming his way.

They're blowing their horns on Taehyung, but they didn't have any choice but to stop and pull over to the side, as Taehyung won't back out.

"Fuck- get out of my fucking way!!" Taehyung gritted his teeth in anger.

A couple more minutes and Taehyung has already reached his destination. He parked his car at the sidewalk, then jumped out quickly.

He then said thru his earpiece, "Did you get access to the CCTV's?! Which floor again, Kook?"

"Third floor, Tae. Take the fire exit stairs to the left, it's faster than the elevator. Then you'll have to go thru the sanitation checkpoint."

"Okay. I'm good from here. Thanks guys! Talk later!!"

Taehyung hurriedly went up the stairs, he was surprised to see the checkpoint, busy with so many nurses, doing their own assigned tasks. He tried to get at least one's attention.

"Excuse me, I need to go inside, please. I'm in a hurry."

"Sir, you have to wait. Please take a seat and someone will be with you."

The nurse walked away from Taehyung, but he still tried to call for someone,

"Uhm- excuse me.. Hi, wait, please.."

Taehyung grew impatient and pulled a male nurse to him, he whispered while he flashed his handgun on his waist to the young nurse,

"Dude, if you want world peace, you'll let me in right now. My husband will hang me upside down and beat me to death if I don't make it on time.. So please, I am begging you not to force me in resorting to violence.. just let me in to the labor room now. Doctor Jeung-oh knows I will be there."

"O-okay, Sir." The nurse nervously said. Then he quickly took a gown, mask and hair net and gave to Taehyung to wear. He then sanitized him before letting him in to the labor room, past the delivery rooms and a few operating rooms.

Finally reaching almost the end of the hallway, Taehyung saw Jin lying down, alone in the room, with just a nurse monitoring him, while doing his breathing exercise.

He ran to him and took his hand, "Baby.. I'm on time, thank God!! How are you feeling?"

Jin pulled his hand away from Taehyung, then he punched him on the chest, which made Taehyung cough a bit.

"W-what do you mean o-on time!!!.. Hoohoooo.." Jin said, panting hard but trying to breathe properly by inhaling and exhaling deep, with his mouth forming a pouted small O.

"I- I've been here for fucking two hours now, T-tae!! And my fucking hole is still at 6 cm!! Where the hell have y-you been?!! Hoooo, ugh fuck, this fucking hurts!! I swear Kim Taehyung, this is the last!! I swear!!!!"
