Nakaupo si Canary sa isang sofa malapit sa hospital bed ni Shekinah kung saan kasalukuyan itong kumakain ng prutas.

After the immediate treatment that the doctor performed on Shekinah, inilipat kaagad ang babae sa hospital na pagmamay ari ni Reed upang mas madali itong ma-monitor.

It has been 4 days after the attempted r-pe happened and the convicted wasn't legally executed. After all, her son died within the hands of Canary and another thing was, the victim was the Montero family's young miss and it would be a very complicated case if it will  be release to the public.

Pagpe-pyestehan ng lahat ang Montero clan idagdag mo pa na ang pinakama-aapektuhan ay si Shekinah na kilala ng lahat bilang isang trouble maker. She probably is to blame in their eyes if the incident were to be known by the public.

"Wala ka bang ibang gagawin?" Shekinah asked Canary who was busy typing something on her laptop.

"Yeah, not much,"  sagot naman ni Canary na ikinagiwi ng pasyente.

Shekinah looked at Canary who was actually occupying herself doing something unlike those times na tanggap lang ito ng tanggap sa mga ibinibigay ni Silva.

She looks like she was working on something important dahil ilang araw na rin itong inaatupag ng babae.

Speaking of Silva.

Shekinah's expression worsened by the thought of the mortal devil. Mababakas ang pagaalangan sa mukha ni Shekinah nang tignan nito si Canary.

"...Ya sure you wanna spend the night here? Hm?" 

Shekinah asked with uncertainty in her voice dahilan upang mailipat ni Canary ang atensyon sa kaibigan.

Itinigil niya ang pagta-type ng kung ano ano sa laptop pagkatapos ay isinarado ito upang hindi makita ng kaibigan.

"Why? What is it?" Canary asked while looking at the woman who was giving her a frustrated look.

Muntikan namang mapamura ng ilang beses si Shekinah sa narinig.

Hindi niya alam kung manhid lang ba ang babae o sadyang wala itong pakialam sa demonyo na kasalukuyang nag aalburoto sa galit tuwing bumibisita sa kanya.

"Ano ba naman 'yan, Canary. Ilang ulit ko nang ipinaalala sa iyo na umuwi ka na. Hindi ko kailangan ang presensya mo dito please lang. Apat na araw ka nang dito sa hospital natutulog habang ako naman ay hindi makatulog. Nako ha, sinasabi ko sa'yo, baka dahil d'yan sa ginagawa mo at baka talagang matuluyan na ako six feet underground. Hindi sa kamay ng iba kundi sa kamay mismo ng Al'Draco na'yon. Haven't you noticed that he acted like a wife who has been cheated by her husband? Hindi niyo ba napapansin ang mga tingin ng lahat dahil nagmumukha kang lalaki na nambabae at inabandona ang asawang babae? What the hell happened between you two? Go home, I don't need a ticking time bomb beside me!"

Mahabang pagrereklamo ni Shekinah habang nakabusangot.

Hindi na niya kasi kaya pa ang kakaibang tingin na ibinibigay ni Silva sa kanya.

Sa tuwing titignan niya naman ito ay parang wala lang itong pakialam dahil bukod sa walang ekspresyon na mukha nito, hindi rin naman siya binibigyan nang pansin pero sa tuwing tatalikod siya ay bigla bigla niya nalang mararamdaman na parang may baril na nakatutok sa likod ng kanyang ulo.

Though the incident happened to left some psychological shadow on Shekinah, mabilis naman itong bumalik sa pagiging optimistic at hindi pinairal ang trauma.

"Leave him be,"   sagot ni Canary na s'yang mas lalong nagpabusangot sa mukha ni Shekinah.

Hindi nalang ito nagsalita pagkatapos ay ipinagpatuloy ang pagkain ng prutas.

Ilang oras pang pananatili ni Canary sa ward ni Shekinah ay napagdesisyunan na nitong umalis na kaagad namang ikinatuwa ng babae.

Shekinah sighed with so much relief that it made Canary's eyebrow to twitch.

After a few goodbye's exchanged between the two of them and Shekinah's cousin, she gradually left the ward without calling someone para sumundo sa kanya.

She drove to the hospital alone with Silva's consent kahit labag sa kalooban ng lalaki but because she knew how to coax that guy, she successfully pulled it off.

Canary arrived at the lobby and was currently walking towards the exit when a guy bumped unto her. Mabilis rin naman itong humingi ng tawad na kaagad niya ring tinanguan.

While walking towards the exit and her car that was parked in front of the hospital, she thought of the tattoo that the guy had on his right thumb.

Hindi ito gaanong mapapansin but if you're keen when it comes to observing, you can actually see the tattoo encircled on it's right thumb. It looks like a string of words but it was colored with red and black.

The man was also well built and was wearing a black shirt paired with a black jogger and with a black shoes. Nakasuot rin ito ng black cap kaya hindi niya gaanong nakita ang mukha nito dahil na rin sa pagkakayuko ng lalaki.

To sum up, the man look suspicious as f-ck if not for the expensive watch and chains on his neck because those accessories costs millions of dollars.

A limited edition watch and a high valued chains. 

Basically, those saved him from her hawk eyes. Siguro at may dadalawin lang itong kamag anak and maybe it seemed to be a VIP.

But she clearly saw the corner of the man's lips curled up for a few seconds before he dissapeard away from her eyes.

Hindi na lamang ito pinansin  ni Canary pagkatapos ay patuloy na naglakad papalabas ng hospital.

As soon as she arrived in front of her car, she was about to open it when she remembered something. Canary took a turn near the exit door and took her phone out of her pocket before she dialed Shekinah's number.

["Yes~? What is it? Wait, nasa baba ka na ba?"]

Tanong ni Shekinah sa kanya na kaagad niya namang sinagot.

"Yeah. I just wanted to remind you that I left my laptop there. It was currently charging so please remove it from the plug right after it finish charging. Also, don't use it and never look at it, do you understand?"

Babala ni Canary dahil alam niyang nacu-curious ang kaibigan sa ginagawa niya.

Sa ilang araw na nakikita siya nitong nakababad parati sa laptop ay talagang nangangati na ang kamay ng babae na tignan kung ano ang ginagawa niya.

Shekinah nervously and embarassingly cleared her throat before she answered.

["...I'm sorry but well, even though I tried to open it, it was locked, like really really locked!  Kaya hindi ko na ipinagpatuloy ang binabalak ko." ]

Shekinah's answer made Canary's eye rolled.

"At proud ka pa ha, anyway, I need to go. I'll be back later. Make sure to rest."

After Canary said those words, she ended the call and took her keys.

She was about to take a step towards her car when suddenly, it exploded right in front of her eyes.

People's panicked voices was heard while debris of the car were everywhere.

Canary was stunned in her place but she's not thinking of her car. Instead, pumasok sa isip niya ang lalaking bumangga sa kanya kanina.

Suddenly, a light bulb lit up above her head making her ran towards the elevator, intending to go back to Shekinah's room while dialing the woman's number again.
