Another breeze of air passed by and everyone seemed so reluctant to speak up.

Nakatingin lang silang lahat kay Canary thinking that something was not right.

Everyone has the same thought in mind.

They all think that something is not right, because it felt like they were currently left in the dark.

Para bang lahat ng alam at nakikita nila ngayon ay hindi totoo.

Nang mapagtanto ni Canary na wala pa ni isa sa kanila ang may balak na magsalita, mabilis siyang naglakad papalayo hanggang sa mapunta na nga siya sa lobby at makalabas na ng building.

Meanwhile, hindi naman natupad ang plano ni Luna na mag paawa sa harap ni Hugo nang tuluyang makaalis si Canary. She was planning to frame and accuse Canary for defaming her and secretly ruining her reputation.

She was ready to execute her plan pero hindi nangyari ang binabalak niya dahil sa hindi inaasahang pangyayari.

Canary left them speechless and with no way to retaliate.

Luna's facade almost blew up nang kamuntikan na siyang mapasigaw sa galit but when she saw Hugo who shifted his attention to her, mabilis niyang pinalitan ang ekspresyon ng mukha niya na para bang naaapi.

She gritted her teeth under her breath and slowly lowered her head para hindi makita ng lahat ang galit na emosyong makikita sa kanyang mukha.

When Hugo saw her pitiful expression, he walk towards Luna and hugged her towards his chest not minding the whispers of the surrounding.

He stroke her hair and whispered in her ears.

"It's okay, I'll handle it. I will make sure to punish and confront her successfully tomorrow. I won't let anyone tarnished your reputation. I swear on my name as the president and your man." Bulong ni Hugo kay Luna.

Nang marinig ni Luna ang sinabi ni Hugo ay napahinga siya ng maluwag. Someone's cleaning up someone for her.

Mas mabuti nang iba yung gumawa ng kalasanan kesa direktang siya ang ituro. The least he can do for her as her suitor and boyfriend to be is to clean up the messes that she made.

He was someone who can do impossible things and that's a given for her especially that she loves trouble.

Truth to be told, mahal na niya si Hugo pero hindi to the point na kaya niyang ipalit ang kasiyahan niya.

Luna smirked at the thought without anyone noticing before she hugged Hugo and gestured him to lower his head.

When her lips reached his ears, "Thank you, babe," she whispered some words that made Hugo shout in happiness.

"W-What do you mean...b-babe?" Stuttering, he asked.

Ngumiti si Luna kay Hugo at mas lalong hinigpitan ang pagkakayakap nito.

"Yeah. Today's date would be our monthsarry! Thank you for everything. I love you!"

Luna tiptoed and kissed the stunned Hugo.

Natawa lang si Luna habang tulala naman si Hugo pero nang mag sink ang mga sinabi ni Luna sa utak niya, mabilis niyang binuhat ang babae pagkatapos ay niyakap ito ng mahigpit.

"Are you serious?! Sinasagot mo na talaga ako? Yesss! I fucking love you, Luna." Hugo feels like spring is coming.

He was feeling so happy not minding the strange looks from everyone around.

Hindi naman alam ng mga nanunuod kung masasayahan ba sila o hindi. Even if they celebrate the two's relationship, they can't help but think that something was really weird. Especially today's sequence of events.

Kaya wala silang iba nagawa kundi ang pumalakpak kahit labag sa loob. Some of the students who had no idea or those who were just passerby's were genuinely happy with the new couple and some were feeling uncertain that they can't help but to whisper words.

"Do you think that Canary will be heartbroken when this news reached her?"

"Shhh, baka marinig ka pa. You better shut your mouth incase someone will hear you."

"No more wondering, ok?"

"O-Ok."

Kahit anong bulongan nila ay rinig na rinig pa rin ni Hugo ang mga ito. When the thought of Canary passed in his mind, he remembered how those misty eyes looked at him with a broken look. Para bang kinurot ang puso niya nang makita kung gaano ka lungkot ang babae.

He felt guilty nang hindi alam kung bakit.

Mabilis niyang nabitawan si Luna nang wala sa oras.

Nagulat naman si Luna dahil sa nangyari.

Of course, she heard the surrounding's whispers but she didn't expected that it will affect Hugo.

The Hugo who was crazy for him and even publicly humiliated the b-tch that she was planning to eradicate.

You fucking bitch! You keep trying to take away everything from me. I'll fucking kill you!

She gritted her teeth in anger without anyone noticing her. Luna knew that she needed to suppress her anger so she tried to calm herself down, when she successfully pulled it off, she took Hugo's hands and tug him.

Natigil ang pagtulala ni Hugo at napatingin kay Luna. When he saw her innocent eyes, he felt like he was electrified.

Bakit niya naisip si Canary kahit si Luna naman ang nasa harap niya?

He forced a smile and held her in his arms again.

He can't help but think of Canary.

Meanwhile, Canary arrived at the entrance of the house. Kaagad siyang pumasok not minding the unlocked door.

Akala ni Canary ay ang isa sa mga tauhan lang iyon na Silva na inutusan ng lalaki na bantayan siya kaya hindi niya nalang ito pinansin.

Nang makarating sa loob ay iniwan niya muna lahat sa living room ang mga hawak niya pagkatapos ay nagtungo sa kitchen area. Kumuha siya ng tubig at ininom ito habang hindi napapansin ang taong papalapit sa kanya sa likod.

"Ah!"

Napasigaw nang malakas si Canary dahil sa biglaang pagyakap sa kanya sa likuran.

Sinubukan niyang manlaban dito at kukuha na sana ng kutsilyo but when she inhaled the scent of the said person behind her, patuloy pa rin siyang nanlaban pero hindi niya na itinuloy ang pagkuha ng patalim.

"Kitten, it's me. It's me kitten, settle down." Silva frowned when he saw how she didn't stop struggling.

This f*cker dared to leave me alone.

He swiftly carried her into his arms and head outside the living room before he sat on the sofa and put her on his lap.

"What's wro-Who the fuck did this to you?" His voice resonated with no emotions in it.

Dahan dahang hinawakan ni Silva ang pulsohan ni Canary at hinimas ang paikot na kulay pula nito.

Red traces encircled her wrist that it made his thought blacked out.

He felt no emotions aside from madness.

Wala siyang ibang nagawa kundi ang paharap na ikandong si Canary sa kanya at hinalikan ito sa noo.

"Does it hurt? It's ok, kitten. I'll make sure to return it tenfolds to the one who dare to lay their hands on you."

Tahimik lang si Canary at hindi sumagot.
