15 〤 the battle

Vivi panted and grunted, "What a coincidence. We're just about to head to Alubarna, too. If you'd like to come with us, then do so." Crocodile stated. "Or... would you rather save these people?" He holds a key in front of them as he smirked devilishly. "That's!—"

"The key to this cell?! Give it here!"

Crocodile smirked at Vivi, who had both of her hands tied in a rope, as he turned away from them. You and Robin were both watching the scene unfold when he let go of the key and it fell to the ground. Vivi broke free and went for it at long last. Although, it's only a trap as the key falls into another type of room. They gasped, "A hole?!"

A room where it seems to be a type of creature living in it. "It won't be too long before their fight to the death begins. Even if you hurried to Alubarna from here, who knows if you'd make it in time...?"

"To stop the rebellion, you'd need to leave at once, Miss Wednesday. Or will you save these people instead? Though it doesn't help that I accidentally dropped the key below the floor, into the bananagators' den."

"Bananagator?" Luffy asked. "Whoa! What's that?! There's an alligator growing from that banana!"

You said, pulling your hat over your eyes, "Get near one, and you'll be eaten in one bite." She smiled as she moved closer to your form. "I apologize for dropping the key, and there's no telling which one swallowed it." Crocodile said, closing his eyes and grinning.

"Damn! If we could just get out of here, I could handle those reptiles!" Zoro cursed.

"You're so dumb Zoro. We can't get out because the key got eaten!"

"Well then." He snaps his finger, "We must be going a little earlier than you. Also this room will be destroyed automatically in one hour's time. This secret underground room I've used as Baroque Works president is no longer of use. It will be soon fill with water and be submerged in Rainbase's lake."

You were too zoned out to even listen at his statement as you focused on the crew instead. Robin looked back at you who was in deep thought and went back. "I'll be right back, Mr. 0." With that she didn't even wait for his response.

"Water's leaking in!" Usopp informed. "The whole room's gonna be flooded if we don't do something! Vivi! Help! Do something!" Usopp turned to look at you and held onto the bars. "Y/N! Help us! I beg you!"

Robin chuckled and gently drew you closer to her with her arm. "Gomen, long-nose-kun, but she's on our side," Luffy looked angry, snapping you out of your reverie. When you looked, all you saw was water leaking in quickly.

You quickly carried Robin bridal-style and adjusted her in a more comfortable position. Her cheeks flared in an instant and let you do what you want. "Why didn't you tell me?" You say, slightly raising your voice as you ran towards Crocodile to catch up. "You weren't listening..."

"Shut up!" Crocodile snapped his fingers once again and there stood a bananagator in front. You stopped your tracks once you heard your name being called out. "Y/N!!! HELP US!!! Aren't we your nakama?!" Luffy yelled.

You ignored him and started to run with Robin in your arms. "Well, this is your chance to abandon them, Miss Wednesday. If you wish to stop the rebellion, that is."

"Vivi! Run! You can't beat it!" Usopp paused and continued. "But help us!"

An interruption, you gently placed Robin down. "Someone's calling." She informed. "What?" She replied to the Den Den Mushi. "Hello? Hello?" You recognized that voice. "Can you hear me?"

"Yes, I hear you. You're a millions, yes?"

"Hey, does this thing work? I've never used a Mini-Transponder Snail before."
