Ashton:

Ashton was an amazing guy, caring, considerate and downright beautiful but his one flaw was his love of the outdoors, anything that involved being outside and being adventurous Ashton loved, camping and hiking in particular.

It had come up to our one year anniversary and Ashton wanted to do something special, I suggested going away for a weekend in Venice or Rome and spending the weekend all loved up and seeing the sights during the day and spending your nights getting steamy after a bottle of the hotels finest champagne.

Ashton however, wanted something different, he'd suggested camping in the woods with a speech about the beauty of the forestry and how being close to nature made us closer as a couple and after a quite short debate I'd ended up caving, Ashton could be very persuasive and I was powerless to resist.

Now here we were, sitting in a tent at 2am trying to cuddle for warmth and having Ashton in my ear constantly reminding me that my shivering was just my mind telling me I was cold. Good logic, Ashton. "Y/N, seriously its not that cold you're just being a baby."

"Ashton its like seven degrees outside its cold enough, we could be sipping champagne in a bath filled with flower petals but no, you insisted so now you deal with my whining."

"Fine, miserable. Just shift a little closer, I don't like it when you're cold." I pressed my body closer to his, sighing outwardly at the warmth that radiated from him, I closed my eyes and tried to enjoy the warmth but a quick noise snapped me out of my stupor.

"Ash! What was that!" I sat up quickly.

"Nothing Y/N, just an animal or something." He sighed, trying to pull me back down to cuddle.

"No it sounded like there was someone out there!" I started to panic, in my head replaying every single teen horror movie where a young couple had been murdered in the woods.

"We're out here alone babe..."

"That's what the male character says right before his guts are ripped out and dangled from a tree branch, Ashton please let's just go home." I begged.

"We drove three hours to get here, we aren't going home, in the movies people only get chopped up when they leave the tent. I'm not going out there. Problem solved." Ashton groaned.

"Ash, I'm scared. Please." I pleaded, trying my best to pull a cute face but probably failing miserably.

"No. Its fine. This is real life, not a movie. Plus, I have quick reflexes from being a kickass drummer, I'd never let anything happen to you." I sighed sadly, knowing Ash was right. I laid my body back down next to him, snuggling in closer than possible.

"I love you Y/N, I'd never let anything happen to you, ever. Happy one year anniversary sugar."

Calum:

"Cal, seriously you know I hate these films." You pulled the blanket up around your body as Calum put Paranormal Activity into the DVD player.

"You know it isn't real right?" He laughed as he took his seat next to you, tugging the blanket so it covered his body also.

"Well this exact film isn't but it could happen Cal! What if one of us gets possessed? Oh my god what if I murder you? I apologize incase that happens." You said, panicking and envisioning different scenarios in your head as Calum just chuckled lightly by your side.

"You're such a weirdo." He said in the worlds most patronising tone and to top it off he ruffled your hair, like a father congratulating his son on his first home run. You pressed yourself into Calum's chest, squeezing your eyes as the film started.
