Strolling hand in hand with Ashton was one of your favourite things to do, whether it was the park, the beach or even to the local shops you loved it.
It was currently 11pm and you, Ashton and the rest of the band had gone out clubbing but after half an hour of watching Luke, Calum and Michael grinding on girls and trying desperately to get laid, you and Ashton had got bored and decided to go home.
"I wish we could be like those other guys ya know. Go out, get wasted, wake up with a killer hangover... But I don't want that anymore. I'd rather stay home with you and play Scrabble or watch Game of Thrones. God, we're like an old married couple." Ashton giggled.
"I'm all about that Scrabble life. Turn up." You joked along with him. You continued to joke with each other as you walked home, enjoying each others company and the serenity of the outdoors. It was all rather peaceful until you turned a corner and were confronted by a couple who were arguing violently.
"You disgust me Lincoln!" The woman shouted, her hair was a mess and she looked under the influence of alcohol.
"Really Audrey? Is that so?" He shouted aggressively in her face. You and Ashton stopped in your tracks, unsure whether to turn back or continue walking past them, you made a motion to move forward but Ashton gripped your wrist, his face stern.
"You're a pig Lincoln! You make me sick!" She screamed at him, her bloodshot eyes filled with rage. The man turned around and yelled in anger but not even a second later he span himself quickly, striking her across the face and sending her tumbling to the ground.
"Hey! What the fuck are you doing!" Ashton shouted at him, running over and helping the woman off of the ground, who was now in tears.
"Stay out of this asshole. This ain't your business." The man spat angrily at him.
"I don't care. You don't hit a woman you piece of crap." Ashton snarled at him, only making the man angrier.
"What the hell are you looking at, whore?" The angry man shouted at you as you stood by Ashton's side, hiding slightly behind his shoulder.
"Don't you dare talk to my girl like that." Ashton lost his temper and swung for the man, his fist colliding with right side of the angry mans face. They broke out in a fist fight, Ashton atop the man, smashing his face repeatedly. You backed away cautiously, unsure of what to say or do, Ashton had a problem sometimes controlling his anger. As you watched with fearful eyes there was a loud siren and a flash of blue and red along the dark road. It was the police. You couldn't do anything but watch as the police retreated from their car and pulled the brawling men apart.
"No please stop! He was protecting me!" You begged to the frosty looking police officer who was cuffing Ashton's hands behind his back.
"Lady. I'll tell you what I see, I see a man beating the crap out of another man and your boyfriend here was doing most of the beating. We gotta take him downtown." The officer said strictly as he pushed a now cuffed Ashton into the back of the car. "Look we'll take him to the station and get to the bottom of this. I'm sure you'll be able to pick up ya boyfriend in a couple hours." You stood back as the officers got into the car with both Ashton and the other man in the back seat, Ashton's head was hung in shame and he had a fat lip, it broke your heart to see him like that.
"Ash!" You shouted to him, running to the window and banging on it to make sure he could hear you. "I'm sorry!"
"Not your fault love. Just come and bail me out." He said, ashamed of himself.
"I will babe, I love you."

Okay so recently I've been getting a few comments of people not liking the scenario used in a couple of preferences and I want to say that if you do disagree with them or take some kind of personal offence then I'm sorry, that's not the way its intended to be at all. Sometimes it can be quite hard to come up with 4 different scenarios and make them believable but some of the things I've wrote about do actually happen in relationships, sometimes people don't choose family first and sometimes people do overreact and I try to go from that angle, if you don't like it then you don't have to read but if there is something you don't like just privately message me and I'll edit something out or change it if it really bothers you.
