Stargazing【Zane X Reader】[ Ongoing ]

[ Chapter 6 ]

Y/n's pov.

I look at the mirror and see I've healed the bruises on my body well, it's been a week since I've start this training with Zane, he's a man of his word. He train me the way he said he wanted to and yes I got homework, apparently he asked my to practice a dagger trick on my own.

He didn't say much, just said make up a trick on my own for the next week, he wants to see improvements of it as well. I have the dagger Garte gave, I've been using it and it has been a week, the trick I've been practicing on my own is not simple, since he said to be creative about it. And so I did, first thing first is I have the pocket knife closes and hold it in a way where I can open it with the flick of my finger.

I flick the blade open and flip it in the air as I caught it by the blade, spinning it around my fingers and as soon as I caught the handle in between my pinky and ring finger, I let the blade fall then turn my hand quick, catching it by the blade and one last time I flip it in the hair and caught it's handle. I use my fingers to reach the blade where I close it and I'm holding the same position from the beginning and I can do it in repeat.

I put my dagger under my pillow and lie down in relaxation, I then hear the sound of chirping and turn my head to the cage to where my ferret it, I chuckle.

" Are you ready to play? " I asked, he keeps chirping and I got up from my bed.

Walking over to him, I open the door and he jumps down quickly, as he start jumping around the walls where he could climb. I open a drawer under the cage and see the yarn ball rolling around, picking it up, I close the drawer and sit down on the floor.

I look at the ferret as he looks at me, I toss the ball and he leaps for it rolling on the floor, I burst out laughing when he crashes on the leg of my bed.

" Are you okay? " I chortle and he just continue to roll around with the ball.

I calm down then lean back against my bed, lying my head back on my mattress, I look up at the ceiling where I see the glass ball hanging. I gaze at the ball when the water inside shape shift itself into figures that I like, couldn't help but smile at them.

" Oh~ " I look down at my door where I see Cade standing.

" What? " I asked.

" I'm telling mom~ " he bolts off and my eyes widened, getting up quickly.

" Cade! " I shout then run out where see him running down the corridor.

I catch up to him and I turn a corner to the living room and see him approaching mom in the kitchen.

" Mom!, Y/n used her- "

" Shhh! " I leap and cover his mouth.

" Oh my god! " Mom said.

" Go to sleep! " I said and we fall to the floor.

" Let go! " He struggles.

" Stop this! "

" Go to sleep, go to sleep, just go to sleep "

Cade struggles and I keep his jaw shut, he started to talk but it's muffled.

" Children! " Mom puts down the pestle and mortar.

" Y/n used her powers again! "

" Hey!, It's not fair!, I'm in the house! " I said and wrap my arms around his neck.

" Still using it-. .ah! "

" Enough!, Both of you! " Mom shouts.

" Your killing me! " Cade struggles.
