[ Chapter 30 ]

Y/n's pov.  

" Hang in there " I said as I carry Akira.

She just passed out just fifteen seconds ago and her pulse is still racing, I rush in the medical centre.

" I need another pair of hands! " I shout as I approach a bed.

I lie Akira down on the bed and lift her eyelids to see their rolled back and her breathing is short. I hold her hand then see her fingers are slightly jerking.

" Who is she? " Delilah approaches with a cart.

" Akira, seven, she's going into a seizure from a panic attack " I said and take out my acupuncture capsule from my pocket.

Before I could take out a needle Akira's body started going limp and her eyes open to show their rolled back.

" I got it! " Delilah remove the pillow and hold her head still, sideways.

I finally take out one needle and gently insert it above her head, inserting it carefully as Delilah holds her.

" Where'd you find her? " She asked.

" Long story short, a commission, she's a thief, we caught her, she went into an episode and then this " I said.

" Oh, not surprised if the men scare her into it " she said as I insert another needle.

" She's an heir " I said as I put in a third needle.

" Oh shit " Delilah said and I put away the capsule.

I grab a medical instrument then open her mouth, she locked her jaw on her tongue and I manage to pry it open and keep it open by placing a piece of fabric and remove the instrument. Her body slowly calms down pretty quick and hold her hands to prevent hitting herself.

" That's it " Delilah said in a soothing voice.

Once she stopped I see her eyes close and she lies there breathing calmly, the fabric I put in her mouth falls out itself, seeing blood I toss it away.

" Akira, can you hear me? " Delilah asked.

I remove the needles from her head one by one and use another rag to clean it before putting it back in my capsule.

" Her pulse is strong " Delilah said.

" Once she wakes up, she's gonna panic again, she doesn't like people holding her " I said.

" You think it's more than a panic attack? " She asked.

" Possible physical trauma " I said and see Calliope who prepared some new bandages and a new bottle of cleansing water.

" Thank you " I said.

I turn to Akira who's fluttering her eyes open.

" Hey there " Delilah grabs her pillow and put it under her head.

" Akira, can you hear me? " I asked as I put my hands on the bed but away from her.

She looks around and it took awhile for her to adjust before she gets up quickly.

" Whoa!, Whoa!, Whoa!, It's okay! " I put my hands up and she backs up with frantic eyes.

She grabs the pillow and throw at me as I dodge.

" It's okay!, It's okay!, We're not gonna touch you! " I said.

" Calm down, we're here to help " Delilah said.

She did calm down when seeing our hands away from her.

" I'm Delilah "

" And I'm Y/n " I gesture to myself.
